The Case Manager provides direct, recovery-oriented support to individuals and families by completing assessments, coordinating services, and helping clients achieve stability, wellness, and self-sufficiency. This role supports clients across the recovery continuum by connecting them to internal programs and community resources, promoting relapse prevention and harm reduction strategies as appropriate, and delivering compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive services aligned with the organization’s mission.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Client Support & Case Management
Conduct client intakes & assessments (as applicable), and eligibility screenings for recovery services.Develop individualized service plans that support goals, stability, and long-term wellness.Provide ongoing case management, and follow-up support, including support with appointments and service navigation.Maintain consistent contact with clients to monitor progress, remove barriers, and encourage continued engagement in services.Assist clients with crisis planning and connect them to appropriate supports (MAT referrals, peer supports, mental health services, emergency housing, etc.).Program Coordination & Service Delivery
Coordinate services across internal programs and external partners to support recovery, stabilization, and community reintegration.Support client engagement in family service related programming (workshops, life skills, employment readiness, housing stability, etc.).Assist clients in navigating systems including housing, employment, education, healthcare, insurance/benefits, and behavioral health services.Track client participation, milestones (as defined by program), and service outcomes.Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate, timely, and complete client records in the case management system, including service plans, progress notes, and referrals.Ensure documentation meets organizational, contractual, and regulatory requirements (including confidentiality standards and required consents).Assist with program reporting, data collection, and outcomes tracking related to recovery and stabilization goals.Protect client confidentiality and follow all privacy guidelines.Collaboration & Community Engagement
Build strong relationships with treatment providers, recovery support organizations, healthcare partners, shelters, employers, and other community resources.Participate in team meetings, case staffing/case review sessions, and training opportunities to strengthen service quality and compliance.Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, including identifying service gaps and recommending solutions that improve recovery outcomes.Perform related duties to support program operations, client success, and the organization’s missionContributes to special projects and evolving business needs.REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience), preferred.
· 1–3 years of case management or client services experience preferred.
· Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience working with diverse or vulnerable populations preferred.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management databases.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Finance leads the financial operations of the organization and ensures strong fiscal stewardship, compliance, and transparency. This role oversees financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, audits, and internal controls while partnering with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
The Director of Finance supervises the Staff Accountant, Accounting & Weatherization Specialist, and Accounts Payable Specialist and serves as a key advisor to the Executive Director and Board Finance Committee.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Financial Leadership & Strategy
• Lead the organization’s financial strategy, ensuring fiscal sustainability and responsible stewardship of funds.
• Develop financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard organizational assets.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the Executive Director and leadership team.
• Translate financial data into meaningful insights for organizational planning and decision-making.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
• Manage the full financial reporting cycle, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, federal and state regulations, and grant requirements.
• Oversee all external audits, fiscal monitoring visits, and tax-related reporting.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to fiscal policies and procedures.
Budgeting & Forecasting
• Lead the annual organizational budgeting process and ongoing forecasting.
• Partner with program leaders to develop and manage program and departmental budgets.
• Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis and recommendations.
• Support grant budgeting, cost allocation, and financial planning for new funding opportunities.
Cash & Asset Management
• Oversee cash flow planning and management to ensure operational stability.
• Monitor receivables, payables, and liquidity to maximize financial efficiency.
• Ensure proper purchasing controls and fiscal accountability across the organization.
Grant & Regulatory Reporting
• Prepare and submit financial reports to regulatory agencies, funders, and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local grant regulations and reporting requirements.
• Oversee the complete 1099 process from W-9 collection through electronic filing.
Vendor & External Relations
• Serve as the primary financial contact for vendors and financial partners.
• Support contract review and fiscal monitoring of external partners and service providers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent with a concentration of accounting and measurable experience.Commensurate financial reporting, budgeting, and cash management experience. Commensurate accounts payable and payroll experience.Abila accounting system experience a plus.Not for profit experience preferred.Highest ethical standards.Sound decision making and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently.Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.Adaptability to a changing environment.
