    What You'll Do

    Purchase ferrous and non-ferrous metal in alignment with market conditions and company standardsIdentify and secure material from industrial accounts, dealers, demolition projects, contractors, repair shops, and retail customersVisit existing and prospective customers to strengthen relationships and uncover new opportunitiesActively pursue and qualify new material suppliersMaintain accurate records of buying activities, prospecting efforts, sales, and follow-up actionsDeliver responsive internal and external service for ferrous and non-ferrous operationsProcess inquiries, account setups, vendor setups, and pricing updates in SAP and Scrap DragonPartner with traders and operations teams to manage inventory and cost dataCoordinate forecasts and buying strategies to optimize sales, margins, and inventory turnover

    What You'll Need

    3-5 years of outside sales experienceExperience in ferrous and non-ferrous (NF) buying preferredStrong interpersonal skills requiredAbility to work independently while demonstrating a strong sense of teamworkExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Strong computer skills with a preference for SAP or related experienceYour Education Bachelor's degree preferred

    What You'll Do Ability to operate fork lift and overhead crane required Coordinate with operations, logistics, and fulfillment teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services and materials Ensure equipment inspection reports are filled out each shift Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture Understand start up, shutdown, and emergency procedures Ensure area is maintained to be clean and maintain a safe working environment What You'll Need Ability to work a rotating shift schedule, including days, nights and weekends Dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs Some overtime will be required Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with excellent strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills Ability to work with exposure to extremes in temperature, chemical, dust fumes and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Your Education High School Diploma or GED required
