Reports to the Carpenter Foreman and is responsible for completing a wide variety of commercial carpentry tasks while helping maintain a productive and efficient jobsite.

The Carpenter Foreman reports directly to the Director of Operations and serves as the primary field leader on assigned projects, coordinating labor, ordering and staging materials, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring work is completed according to company expectations.
Responsibilities
1. Lead and supervise carpentry crews on commercial construction projects.
2. Perform hands-on carpentry work alongside the crew.
3. Plan daily work activities and coordinate manpower. Director does the scheduling with input from Foremen.
4. Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
5. Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with a high level of craftsmanship.
6. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and customers.
7. Train and mentor carpenters and apprentices.
8. Maintain jobsite organization, cleanliness, and safety.
9. Identify and resolve field issues before they impact the schedule.
10. Track material needs and communicate shortages to the office.
11. Complete daily reports and communicate project progress.
Qualifications
1. 5+ years of commercial carpentry experience.
2. Previous experience leading crews or serving as a foreman preferred.
3. Strong knowledge of demo, metal stud and wood framing, finish carpentry, doors, hardware, millwork, drywall, and general commercial construction.
4. Ability to read blueprints and layout work independently.
5. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
6. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation, DOT certification required (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
7. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
8. OSHA certification is a plus.
