Job DescriptionJob Description
A fast-growing kitchen, bath, and interior design company is looking for a talented Design Center Coordinator to join our team immediately. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about design, enjoys working directly with clients, and wants to grow with a dynamic and expanding company.
We are seeking an executive-minded design professional to captain our department—someone who pairs a sharp eye for beautiful, functional spaces with the leadership skill to mentor a team and deliver an unforgettable homebuyer experience.
Part time opportunity is also available.
Key Responsibilities
Department Leadership: Take full accountability for the Design Center’s daily operations, processes, and performance metrics.
Team Mentorship: Lead, coach, and inspire our team of designers. Set clear expectations, provide ongoing training, and foster a collaborative, high-energy environment.
The Ultimate Customer Experience: Define and execute a world-class customer service standard. Ensure every homebuyer receives personalized, attentive, and stress-free guidance through their selection process.
Reputation Management: Actively monitor customer satisfaction. Your success will be directly tied to the "excellent" reviews and high Net Promoter Scores (NPS) our homebuyers leave for our growing company.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the bridge between the design team, sales, and construction to ensure selections are accurate, uploaded on time, and seamlessly executed in the field.
Trend & Inventory Management: Keep the Design Center ahead of market trends, managing vendor relationships to ensure our offerings are both current and profitable.
What We Are Looking For
The Leader: Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a team, preferably within a homebuilding design center, luxury retail, or high-end interior design firm.
The Customer Champion: A proven track record of elevating customer service standards. You genuinely care about the client journey and know how to turn a standard appointment into a memorable experience.
The Strategist: A problem-solver who can handle high-pressure situations with grace, resolve client concerns effortlessly, and optimize department workflows.
The Communicator: Exceptional interpersonal skills—you can connect equally well with an anxious first-time homebuyer, a seasoned subcontractor, and executive leadership.
