    POSITION SUMMARY

    Our café team is the heart of Colectivo Coffee. As a Café Co-Worker, you'll create welcoming moments, provide exceptional service, and maintain a café environment people love returning to.

    This role blends hospitality, food and beverage preparation, customer service, and café upkeep. You'll gain deep knowledge of the products, experience, and quality standards that define our brand.

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Payroll and Total Rewards Manager will oversee the company's payroll and benefits programs to create an approachable experience and beneficial offerings to Colectivo's co-worker population. This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional who can ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in their work and effective communication with employees regarding their benefits.


    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

    Design, implement and manage payroll, compensation, benefits, and recognition programs that attract, retain and engage co-workers throughout the organizationProcess and verify bi-weekly payroll, including: review of reports of time and labor, verify all leave taken (in accordance with CCR Policy, federal, state, and local law), calculate and allot tips, Process and verify salary or wage adjustments, pay-line adjustments, ACH returns or reversals, collection and reimbursement garnishments, tax liens, and child support.Process responses to unemployment insurance benefit(s) claims. Processes tax changes, deductions, direct deposit information, retroactive adjustments and special pay (such as bonuses, garnishments, etc) through the HRIS Support the documentation of and administer system updates for all employee changes including transfers, promotions, leaves of absence, and terminationsPrepare and administer/file, or otherwise ensure compliance to, all required reporting requirements or established process for all relevant government rules and regulations, including but not limited to: ERISA, 5500 Filings, IRS and DOL filings, ACA and EEO Reporting, OSHA 300, COBRA, and HIPPAAAdminister, direct, and serve as the internal expert on all employee benefitsRegularly review current wage, benefit, and recognition programs, and modify to ensure current and competitive offerings and compliance with all legal requirementsManage vendor and broker relationships relating to payroll and benefits systems and programs, including: service agreements, cost/billing, reporting, auditing, and contract negotiationsLead and guide stakeholders through the access to and maintenance of employee, benefit, and company information via the HRISAdminister Leaves of Absence, FMLA, and ADA Accommodations


    5+ years of experience in Payroll and Benefit management, or a related fieldExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCooperative, positive, and collaborative attitude with teammates, co-workers, and vendorsAbility to work independently and as part of a team, is self-motivated and drivenStrong organizational and time management skills, attention to detailExercises discretion, has proven problem-solving skills, and handles challenges with empathy and confidenceProficient in HRIS, Excel/Google Sheets, and a willingness to learn other platformsBachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related degree
