Job Summary: Compensation $28-$33 Per Hour Responsibilities The Plant Operator's responsibility is to operate the asphalt plant to produce asphalt that meets quality standards. Safety And Quality Participating actively in company safety programs, including safety huddles, one-on-one safety conversations, and reporting of close calls. Promoting safe work practices and excellent safety culture. Reporting any safety issues or incidents immediately. Participating in any safety incident investigation. Following all safety policies and procedures, including LOTOTO, Motor Vehicle Policy, Drug assisting co-workers and supervisors with assigned duties. Communicating openly, honestly, and professionally with co-workers, supervisors, and all others. Working alongside fellow employees to complete assigned tasks sometimes under adverse working conditions to meet goals set forth by management. Functional/Technical: Identifying and reporting plant deficiencies to the Plant Superintendent so they can be addressed in a timely manner for proper repair. Performing maintenance and repairs with professionalism and quality in mind to maximize plant efficiency. Maintaining plant facilities in a professional manner by keeping tools, equipment, and buildings clean and orderly with safety in mind.
