We began serving the public in 1923, and today we have over 50 locations in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.     Essential Functions of a Retail Sales Associate / Team Member:

    A passion to deliver world class convenience to every guestTeam-oriented, flexibility to work in kitchen and cash register areas of the storeDedication to maintaining a clean, safe environmentCash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting company programsEnsuring proper preparation, presentation, and freshness of all food service productsFollow approved cooking procedures and present quality food to company standard.Practice sanitary and safe food handling procedures.Ability to be a brand ambassador and continue to develop our evolving food program

    Requirements of a Retail Sales Associate / Team Member:

    Age 18 or olderThe ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lifting to 50 pounds.

    What You’ll Do

    As an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll support the Store Manager and District Manager in driving store operations, financial performance, and team success. Responsibilities include:

    Overseeing inventory, cash handling, and financial performance at the store levelLeading, coaching, and developing team members to achieve goalsDelivering excellent guest experiences and resolving concerns quicklyEnsuring compliance with safety, service, and operational standardsSupporting hiring, training, and scheduling of team membersActing as a role model of Coen’s Seven Core Principles

    What We’re Looking For

    Associate’s degree in business (preferred)1–2 years of leadership experience, ideally in retail or convenience store managementStrong understanding of retail operations and financialsExcellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsWillingness to work flexible shifts and at multiple store locations if neededAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout shiftsMust be 18+, able to pass a background check and drug screen

    What You’ll Do

    Deliver outstanding guest service with a friendly attitude

    Greet and assist customers at the register and throughout the store

    Keep the store clean, safe, and welcoming (inside and outside, including restrooms, pumps, and common areas)

    Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and maintain merchandising standards

    Operate the cash register (POS) accurately and follow loss prevention policies

    Assist with food service needs and communicate with the kitchen as required

    Follow safety, sanitation, and compliance standards

    Support and train team members as needed

    Work as a flexible, reliable team player in a fast-paced environment

    What We’re Looking For

    High school diploma or GED required

    Retail, convenience store, or QSR experience preferred
