    Codescratch is looking for a solid DevOps Engineer to join our small, but growing and highly motivated team. You will keep our infrastructure running smoothly, automate deployments, and make sure our services stay reliable and scale when needed. We need someone who really knows Linux, has worked with Big Data setups, and is comfortable using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Python, and especially AWS. This role is about improving our processes and getting great software out the door, quickly and efficiently. We're looking for a team player who's creative, proactive, loves a good challenge, likes wearing multiple hats and is committed to delivering. Basically, we're all about making sure our customers are super happy. We want to do more than just give them what they expect; we want to blow them away with our products, services, and how we interact with them. Expect to be in the office 1-2 days a week for team collaboration, but otherwise, it's a flexible hybrid position. Key Responsibilities: You'll be handling everything from designing and deploying cloud infrastructure on AWS to making sure it runs smoothly day-to-day. This involves monitoring the system, fixing issues quickly and figuring out how to avoid them in the future.
    Setting up automated deployment pipelines to keep things reliable and scalable. Managing both production and non-production environments, keeping them secure and performing at their best. Expect to work closely with developers to get their apps up and running. Need to stay up-to-date on all things cloud and recommend ways to optimize our setup. Why Codescratch?     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. One year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education. Relevant certifications may be substituted for education or years of experience.
    Must have, or obtain Security+ certification and/or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT II certification within 30 days of start date.
    U.S. citizenship required.
    Active TS/SCI w. poly Clearance required. Technical Skills Required: Strong knowledge of Linux, including system administration and troubleshooting.
    Proficient in configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
    Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda) for infrastructure deployment and management.
    Experience with application and OS deployment, scaling, and management.
    Ability to develop in multiple programming languages such as bash, Python, or Go.
    Familiarity with Git and development tools, including deployment pipelines.

This role will lead the DevOps effort across a team of software engineers, and cyber security SMEs to design, implement, support, and maintain solutions. The successful candidate will contribute to deploying and maintaining infrastructure supporting the development and integration of a distributed endpoint collection tool enabling critical situational awareness. What You Will Do: Facilitating the development and deployment of infrastructure within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment.
    The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our services. The DevOps Engineer will play a key role in monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing proactive measures to prevent service disruptions.
    Administering and upholding cloud infrastructure on AWS.
    Building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code to deploy services in AWS VPC cloud environment to include kubernetes using Terraform, and Ansible. Automating deployment procedures to ensure the robustness and scalability of services.
    Design, develop, document, test, and deploy software in Python, JavaScript, Java and SQL.
    Deploy, configure, test, troubleshoot, maintain, update/upgrade PostgreSQL databases.
    Troubleshoot and resolve installation, infrastructure and system issues.
