Career path and compensation:
Apprentice (06 months): $20/hourWildlife Tech Level 1 (612 months): $21/hour + production commission + $20 per lead you generateWildlife Tech Level 2 (1236 months): $22/hour + 7% sales commission + $30 per leadSenior Technician (2436 months): $23/hour + 10% sales commission + $50 per lead + $1,500 annual scorecard bonusTeam Lead: $25/hour + leadership bonus structureService Manager: Salary position with full leadership compensation packageYou won't have to guess what you're worth. What you'll actually do
You'll start each morning with a check in call, then run your route solo. A typical day includes:
Inspecting homes for pest and wildlife activityApplying pest control treatments inside and outside homesSetting and removing wildlife traps (raccoons, squirrels, rats, possums, armadillos)Performing exclusion work sealing roof returns, attic vents, crawl space access pointsTalking to homeowners every day, explaining what you found and what you didDocumenting your work in our system before you leave each jobThe work is physical. You'll be in attics in July, under crawl spaces, and on ladders. No two days look the same.
What we're looking for
We hire for attitude over experience. We can teach pest control. We can't teach work ethic.
Required:
Clean driving record and valid driver's licenseComfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and on laddersAble to lift 50+ lbs and work outside in Florida weatherSelf-motivated you're alone in the field most of the day, so we need someone who runs their route without being managedStrong communication skills you'll be talking to homeowners every dayPass a background check and drug screenWhat gets you hired faster:
Any prior service industry experience (HVAC, plumbing, lawn care, construction, exterminating)Customer-facing work history with strong referencesA track record of staying at jobs longer than 12 months
