We are seeking an experienced and professional Bus Driver to join our team. In this role, you will transport disabled/ mentally challenged individuals to and from their day program. You will plan the most efficient route, ensure adherence to pick up and drop off schedules, and perform routine vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate has experience driving 25 passenger buses and makes safety a number one priority. Passenger endorsement with no passenger limit restrictions required.
Responsibilities
Pick up materials and goods in one location and transport to another location.Perform daily pre and post safety inspections and immediately report maintenance needsPlan the safest and most efficient routes of travelAdhere to route scheduleMaintain detailed mileage logsComply with all company policies and driving lawsQualifications
minimum 2 years previous experience as a Bus Driver is preferredValid commercial drivers license (CDL)Understanding of all relevant DOT driving laws and regulationsAbility to operate wheelchair lift.Clean driving recordWillingness to work evenings and Saturdays as needed
