About Your Role The Project Manager supports the District Facilities Planning & Development department by managing multiple educational facility construction and renovation projects through all phases of project delivery. This role serves as the owner's representative and works closely with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, college administrators, and District stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with District standards and regulatory requirements. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with a major in Architecture Construction Management Engineering Urban Planning Or a related field Or Four (4) years of full-time, paid, professional-level experience in planning facilities or managing the construction of educational, governmental, or commercial building projects. Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, successful completion of a recognized college-level project management curriculum, or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification Certifications Requirements Valid Class "C" California driver's license required What You'll Need to Get the Job Done Five (5) years of full-time, paid, professional-level experience in planning facilities or managing the construction of educational, governmental, or commercial building projects.
