    Vice President of Manufacturing & Product Development


    We are seeking a compassionate, people-oriented, and results-driven Vice President of Manufacturing & Product Development to lead and continuously improve all aspects of our manufacturing operations and product development initiatives.     The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in plastic injection molding manufacturing, product research and development, automation, robotics, and lean manufacturing environments.     This leader will be responsible for maintaining world-class operational metrics, including a 99.7% or greater on-time delivery rate, while continually identifying opportunities to improve quality, increase capacity, reduce downtime, optimize ROI on capital investments, and strategically manage vendor relationships to control costs without sacrificing quality or service.


    The VP will partner closely with senior leadership to support the company's continued growth through innovation, operational excellence, and a commitment to developing people.

    Required Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including senior executive or plant leadership roles.Extensive experience in plastic injection molding manufacturing environments.Proven success managing high-volume automated manufacturing operations.Experience with robotics, automation systems, and advanced manufacturing technologies.Demonstrated expertise in research and development, product commercialization, and process improvement.Strong financial acumen with experience developing budgets, managing costs, and evaluating ROI on capital investments.Proven ability to improve operational performance while maintaining exceptional customer service and delivery metrics.Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.Strong ERP, data analytics, and manufacturing systems experience.

    We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector/Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential in ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards and specifications through precise inspection and accurate programming of CMM equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, proficiency in programming and operating CMMs, and a comprehensive understanding of quality control processes aligned with industry standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to maintaining product integrity, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and upholding our commitment to excellence.


    Duties

    Perform detailed dimensional inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and other precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.Develop, modify, and optimize CMM programs using Calypso software to accurately measure complex components based on engineering drawings and schematics.Interpret blueprints, schematics, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical specifications to ensure compliance with design intent.Conduct quality inspections at various stages of manufacturing processes, including machining and tooling verification, to identify deviations from specifications.Document inspection results meticulously and prepare detailed reports for quality assurance records.Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and machinists to troubleshoot measurement issues and recommend process improvements.Ensure all inspection activities comply with industry standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100.Maintain calibration schedules for all measurement tools and ensure adherence to calibration standards.Support root cause analysis for non-conformances by analyzing inspection data and recommending corrective actions.Assist in training team members on proper measurement techniques, use of precision instruments, and CMM programming best practices.


    JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:


    MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH ZIESS CONTURA 6206 09/12/06

    · Training and Experience: 4 years or more of trade school, vocational education, work experience, or apprenticeship. Certificates of training for Geometric Dimensioning and tolerancing classes or seminars. Certificate of training/programming for CNC coordinate measuring machines.

    · Reading and Comprehension: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings, set up sheets, and process sheets. Ability to write routine reports.

    · Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret graphs. Good working knowledge of shop math including trig and geometry. Certificates of training for higher level math from either class study or seminars.

    · Computer Skills: Ability to enter and retrieve data relevant to job function from computer using ERP system and other software.

    · Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    · Physical Demands: The employee is required to:

    - stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor.

    - exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or

    - exert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or
