POSITION SUMMARY
The Route Driver, reporting directly to the Branch Manager, is responsible for managing product deliveries and overseeing inventory at customer locations. This role typically includes multiple customer stops per day and requires working in varying weather and driving conditions. In addition to delivery responsibilities, the Route Driver plays a key role in driving business growth by fostering repeat business and generating new sales opportunities. Must hold a Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely deliver a full range of cryogenic and gaseous cylinders to customer locations.Replenish empty customer tanks of all sizes. Tanks may be located indoors or outside. Adhere to all established procedures for the safe handling, transport, and delivery of products. Operate motor vehicle to transport Hazardous Material and equipment safely. Drive carefully and obey all traffic laws Respond to emergency situations promptly and professionally, following established protocolsMonitor and manage customers’ inventory of industrial gases and consumables to ensure uninterrupted supply.Act as a liaison to Account Managers by providing regular updates on customer progress and activity.Communicate customer concerns or issues promptly to the Account Manager for resolution.Resolve customer issues regarding products or equipment malfunctions. Maintain good working relationships by ensuring that customers receive the best customer service. Communicate with appropriate staff, accurately track product and delivery information, and create and maintain a variety of records and documents. Complete pre-trip and post trip inspection of vehicle.Record and maintain accurate sales and delivery paperworkDocument incidents communicate concerns to appropriate staff and give to supervisor immediately for investigation.Work with customers to service and restock inventory in a timely and professional manner.Restock Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) and vending machines with required products.Perform minor preventive maintenance on vehicles and inform supervisor as appropriate for other maintenance needed for vehicles.Perform minor preventive maintenance such as ensuring appropriate tire pressure, adding washer fluid, clean mirrors, etc.Wash and clean interior including disposing of garbage.Take vehicles to garage for maintenance and repairs as scheduled.Perform emergency repairs to vehicles on the road or get assistance as appropriate. Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies and promote continuous improvement of workplace safety.Generate new and repeat sales by making recommendations to prospects and clients of various solutions the company offers to their current needs.Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend appropriate solutions.Proactively recommend services needed by customers to increase satisfaction and improve transaction profitability.Provide exceptional customer service to all prospects and clients whether on the phone, in person or through electronic communications.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalentMust hold a Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker EndorsementOne or more years of experience operating large vehicles preferable; or an equivalent combination of experience and training requiredJob Requirements:

Education, Experience and Certifications
High School degree or equivalent required. Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred. 2+ years of experience in a similar Accounts Payable role preferred. Strong knowledge of computers and software, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and the most current QuickBooks version required. Able to maintain the confidential nature of information in their control. Must possess excellent analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which allows for strategic data interpretation versus simple reporting. Able to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and/or projections. Knowledge of computerized information systems used in financial and/or accounting applications. Mathematical/quantitative aptitude and skills to track financial and payroll data. Demonstrate the ability to gather, prepare, and present detailed business information ensuring accurate estimating and pricing for the customer. Must adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes. Detail-oriented, organized and applies effective time management skills in order to meet all deadlines. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely deliver a full range of cryogenic and gaseous cylinders to customer locations.Replenish empty customer tanks of all sizes. Tanks may be located indoors or outside. Adhere to all established procedures for the safe handling, transport, and delivery of products. Operate motor vehicle to transport Hazardous Material and equipment safely. Drive carefully and obey all traffic laws Respond to emergency situations promptly and professionally, following established protocolsMonitor and manage customers’ inventory of industrial gases and consumables to ensure uninterrupted supply.Act as a liaison to Account Managers by providing regular updates on customer progress and activity.Communicate customer concerns or issues promptly to the Account Manager for resolution.Resolve customer issues regarding products or equipment malfunctions. Maintain good working relationships by ensuring that customers receive the best customer service. Communicate with appropriate staff, accurately track product and delivery information, and create and maintain a variety of records and documents. Complete pre-trip and post trip inspection of vehicle.Record and maintain accurate sales and delivery paperworkDocument incidents communicate concerns to appropriate staff and give to supervisor immediately for investigation.Work with customers to service and restock inventory in a timely and professional manner.Restock Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) and vending machines with required products.Perform minor preventive maintenance on vehicles and inform supervisor as appropriate for other maintenance needed for vehicles.Perform minor preventive maintenance such as ensuring appropriate tire pressure, adding washer fluid, clean mirrors, etc.Wash and clean interior including disposing of garbage.Take vehicles to garage for maintenance and repairs as scheduled.Perform emergency repairs to vehicles on the road or get assistance as appropriate. Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies and promote continuous improvement of workplace safety.Generate new and repeat sales by making recommendations to prospects and clients of various solutions the company offers to their current needs.Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend appropriate solutions.Proactively recommend services needed by customers to increase satisfaction and improve transaction profitability.Provide exceptional customer service to all prospects and clients whether on the phone, in person or through electronic communications.Qualifications:
