    Job SummaryWe are seeking full time or part time Registered Behavior Therapist or Behavior Therapist to join our team! In this role, you will work 1:1 and in group settings with clients, implement sill acquisition and behavior reduction programs, and work under a BCBA to help your clients achieve their highest success. 

    Responsibilities  Delivers direct ABA therapy 1:1 or in a small group format to children on the Autism SpectrumAccurately implement skill acquisition programs and implement the individual treatment planAccurately implement behavior reduction plans, behavior protocols, and/or behavior support plansMaintain precise and meticulous client progress records, which may include data sheets, graphs, daily notes, anecdotal information, etc.Maintain a safe, clean, stimulating, and fun environment for the clientCollaborate with the client family and related professionals as needed regarding client updates, progress, behavioral concerns, etcUphold company policies and standards of conduct; implement ABA intervention in line with the BACB ethical guidelinesPromptly report all incidents of abuse/neglect and train others to recognize signs of abuse, neglect, and exploitationProvide high quality customer service to clients and their familiesParticipate in initial and ongoing staff training as offered, as well as commit to continued learning and performance improvementQualificationsHigh School Diploma (relevant college degree and coursework is preferred)The desire to work with children and experience with individuals with autism spectrum disorder is preferredPrevious experience as a behavioral health therapist preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organizedIf not already RBT certified, commitment to become certified and maintain the certification as an RBT

    Job Description

    - Deliver ABA therapy in a 1:1 or small group format

    -Commitment to become certified and maintain the certification as an RBT

    -Full time: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm

    We are looking for an exceptional and patient-focused Occupational Therapist to work with children in a private clinic based setting. You will offer effective and client-centered services that will enable our clients to confidently and independently carry out everyday tasks or activities. The successful candidate will have a holistic perspective and will be able to adapt the environment to fit the child. Experience with Autism and school age children is a plus! 

    ResponsibilitiesAddress client’s aspects of performance to support engagement in occupations that affect health, well-being and life qualitySelect and adapt the appropriate per case occupational therapy treatment model, method and approach to direct the process of interventionsApply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL)Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable componentsAssess client’s home and other environments and advice on alterations consistent with their needs and capabilitiesRecommend adaptive equipment and train in its useGuide and educate family members and caregiversObserve, note, and report on progress of long and short term treatment goalsCollect data and document processes followedRegularly follow-up clientWork within an interdisciplinary team of speech pathologists, BCBAs and behavioral technicians 

    SkillsProven working experience as occupational therapistExcellent knowledge of principles and practices of occupational therapyHands-on experience with computer programs and creative mediaFamiliarity with ADLs evaluation tools ( e.g. sensory profile etc)Ability to manage patients with different types of personalitiesCurrent knowledge of treatment practices per discipline and drive to continually learn and grow in the professionProfessional behaviorExcellent interpersonal communication skillsValid license to practice occupational therapy
