    Patient Care Technician

    The Patient Care Technician, working under the direct supervision of Registered Nurse, is primarily responsible for providing direct, non-invasive bedside care to patients. This position must integrate company values into daily practice.

    Essential Functions:

    Prioritizes and delivers basic patient care, including bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, etc. Performs and documents vital signs, measures and records intake and output, weights, specimen collections, etc. Transfers patients utilizing proper body mechanics and safe patient handling techniques.Reports any changes observed in condition or behavior of patient to appropriate nursing personnel.Assists in preparing unit, patient rooms, and patient beds for receiving patient admissions. Maintains bed and room in a clean, neat, safe, and comfortable manner. Removes supplies and equipment not in use; placing furnishings and equipment out of the path in order to provide a safe, neat, and organized area.Adheres to patient rounding expectations and standards.Assists in maintaining a physical, social, and psychological environment conducive to providing maximal patient comfort and optimizing healing.Promptly and appropriately responds to patient and family calls and requests.Appropriately designates applicable charges to individual patients using hospital's established system.May be required to work during inclement weather and other staffing emergencies.Provides an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff. Assesses environmental risks for safety and implements appropriate precautions.     Minimum Job Requirements

    Minimum Education & Experience :

    High school diploma or GED equivalent strongly preferred.2 years of experience in inpatient hospital setting preferred.

    Required Licenses, Certifications, and/or Documentation:

    Current BLS required.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Knowledge of current clinical operations and procedures.Demonstrates knowledge of appropriate Infection Prevention and proper body mechanics.Demonstrates general computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and records management.Demonstrates critical thinking skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and complete complex tasks.Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection prevention standards.Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.Ability to work closely and professionally with others at all levels of the organization.

    Our passionate and team oriented Physical Therapy Assistants provide components of physical therapy procedures along with related tasks that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of our patients experiencing injuries or disease while integrating company values into daily practice under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

    This role is full time and will work day shifts as needed.

    Job duties include, but are not limited to:

    Assists Physical Therapist in determining patient abilities and/or limitations in establishing treatment goals and in planning appropriate physical therapy treatment.Under the direction of the Physical Therapist, completes documentation of patient status/progress for assigned patients. Reports observation of patient performance to Physical Therapist.Provides age-related and culturally sensitive delivery of patient care services.Collaborates with the patient, team members, and area staff during the rehabilitation process to ensure quality care. Coordinates with interdisciplinary team on patient needs, treatment modifications, and progress.Assists in safe and efficient management and maintenance of the therapy program areas, equipment and supplies.     Minimum job requirements

    Experience in a neuro clinic, and three (3) years of direct patient care experience in acute inpatient rehab hospital setting strongly preferredCurrent state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.One year of direct patient care experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.Basic Life Support/CPR Certification required.

    Our Clinical Liaisons are responsible for evaluating potential patients to determine if they meet admissions criteria. These individuals maintain assigned sales and marketing territory, prepare development plans, marketing, conduct calls and present to potential referral sources while integrating company values into daily practice.

    This position is full time and will work day shifts. The territory for this position is the Gainesville, Florida area.

    Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
    Maintains assigned sales territory, which is the Gainesville market. Develops, implements, evaluates, and refines territory sales plans based upon data, trends, market needs, and facility needs.Effectively track sales activity, maintain client profiles, and ensure compliance with Company's standards.Conducts proper pre-admission patient evaluations in a timely manner.Coordinates specific marketing and public relations activities such as conferences exhibits, seminars/in-services, advertising, media relations, government relations, etc. as assigned.
    Requirements for consideration:
    A minimum of 3 (three ) years' experience in healthcare. Healthcare sales experience strongly preferred.Current clinical state license in good standing (Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT) or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is required.Must maintain valid, acceptable driving record, current drivers' license and insurability.

    Minimum Job Requirements

    Minimum Education & Experience :

    High school diploma or GED equivalent.2 years of experience in inpatient hospital setting required, inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.

    Required Licenses, Certifications, and/or Documentation:

    Current state CNA certification required.CPR certification required.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Knowledge of current clinical operations and procedures.Demonstrates knowledge of appropriate Infection Prevention and proper body mechanics.Demonstrates general computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and records management.Demonstrates critical thinking skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and complete complex tasks.Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection prevention standards.Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.Ability to work closely and professionally with others at all levels of the organization.
