About the Role
Clarvida is seeking Lifesharing Providers who are willing to open their homes and embed individuals into everyday family life. This full time role offers a monthly stipend and benefits in exchange for providing a supportive, stable, and person centered environment. As a Lifesharing Provider, you will support individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in developing life skills, integrating into the community, and experiencing inclusion as family members.
Responsibilities Provide daily support for personal care, hygiene, meals, and household chores Assist with transportation to appointments, community activities, and outings Promote personal growth and independence via life skills coaching Encourage community inclusion, socialization, and recreational participation Monitor health and wellness, including medication adherence and reporting needs Maintain accurate records and meet documentation requirements Engage in training, supervision, and ongoing professional development Foster a home environment of respect, dignity, and safe boundaries Required Qualifications A stable, safe home environment with appropriate living space Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation Ability to complete background checks, health screenings, and home assessments Commitment to caregiving and providing consistent support Willingness to follow training and program protocols Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities CPR / First Aid certification Ability to speak multiple languages (e.g., bilingual Spanish) Understanding of person centered planning and behavior support techniques Compensation & Benefits Monthly stipend (amount varies by contract and region) Paid respite coverage Training, development, and continuing education support On call support network and crisis backup Assistance with home modifications and necessary supplies Reimbursement for transportation related to care Access to benefits where applicable (health, insurance) - discounts, partner programs, etc. Work Location
