Job Summary
Clark Testing is looking for a Test Technician for our Jefferson Hills-based mechanical test services laboratory. The Test Technician is responsible for the setup and execution of provided test programs including, but not limited to, shock, vibration, and environmental testing. In this role, the Test Technician is required to utilize hands-on skills as well as operating test equipment using computer aided programs. The Test Technician is accountable for proper completion and results following a strict quality program. A training program is provided during the introductory period.
Qualifications & Competency Requirements
A High School Diploma or GED is required.An Associates or Technical degree is preferred.A minimum of 3 years’ relevant mechanical experience in a related field or industry is required.4 or more years’ relevant mechanical experience in a related field or industry is preferred.Comfortable working with hand and power tools.Electrical aptitude is required.Mechanical aptitude is required.Experience with low voltage circuitry is required.Experience with industrial machinery and instrumentation is required.Computer experience and skills using MS Windows software is required.Crane, forklift, and rigging experience are a plus.Must be able and willing to follow verbal and written procedures for setup and quality requirements.Must demonstrate a “Want-to” attitude with skills in prioritizing, problem-solving, and time-management.Strong people skills with a proven ability to work both on a team and independently.Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with co-workers and customers.Must be safety, quality, and detail-oriented, including maintaining a clean work area.Must be able and willing to wear job-related PPE and company issued uniform.Must be able and willing to lift, carry, move, or transport objects of up to 50 lbs.Available to work daylight shift and willing to work overtime when necessary.Perform other duties and tasks as needed and required by management.Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and have reliable transportation.Must be able to pass drug screening and background checks.Must be a US citizen.This is a full-time, hourly, Non-exempt position. Clark Testing is seeking an energetic individual who enjoys variety in their workday for our Jefferson Hills, PA location. This position is a physically active job which includes courier duties and floats between our maintenance & facilities team and analytical chemistry lab.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing courier services.Using company pickup truck to collect samples from local steel mills and transporting them to the lab for preparation and testing analysis.Sample preparation.Includes using various hand tools (grinder) and other equipment such as industrial-size band saw.Basic electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and hardware repairs on equipment.Operating forklift for on-site loading, unloading, and moving equipment and other materials.Following policies and procedures for maintaining a compliant chemical waste program.Basic laboratory upkeep and analyst and technician support.Perform other duties and tasks as needed and required by management.Floating between several areas and acting as a versatile back up for multiple departments.We recognize these are niche responsibilities, so an inquisitive mind, a great attitude, and a willingness to learn from others and work onone’s own can be equally important as is previous experience. This role is also customer-facing; therefore, a customer-centric and professional communication style is essential.
Qualifications & Requirements

Primary Duties
Support day-to-day HR operations across all four of Clark Testing’s U.S. locations.Field employee questions regarding company policies, benefits, and payroll.Coordinate talent acquisition process including job postings, phone screenings, and interviews while serving as the communication liaison between hiring managers and candidates.Join representatives from other departments such as Safety, Quality, and IT to deliver an exceptional orientation and Day 1 experience for new employees.New hire onboarding, which includes ensuring completion of Form I-9, tax forms, and other new employee documents.Maintain confidential employee records and HRIS data that is organized and ready to support compliance audits.Process employee status changes, transfers, promotions, offboarding, etc.Assist with processing payroll, benefits administration, and handling leave-of-absence cases.Promote positive employee relations and support the VP of HR with investigations when such matters arise.Plan, schedule, communicate, and execute employee programs such as open enrollment for employee benefits, and special events i.e., company outings, holiday parties, and seasonal initiatives.Perform other duties and tasks as needed and required by management.Qualifications & Requirements

Clark Testing is seeking a Sample Prep Technician for our Dupo, Illinois coal & coke testing facility. In this position, which involves manual labor and working nights and weekends, the Sample Prep Technician collects samples from client sites and ensures all applicable procedures are completed and recorded upon return to the testing facility.
To start, this is a part-time, Non-exempt, hourly position. Full-time employment may be achieved upon successful completion of Clark Testing's 90-day introductory review period at which time the proven candidate’s eligibility for benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, employee assistance program (EAP), 401(K) plan with discretionary employer match, and paid time off and holidays.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Pick up and collect 500-pound samples from client sites 3 - 5 times per day.Prep all daily incoming samples per specifications.Log all daily test data into database or spreadsheet.Responsible for making and recording experimental observations.Generate documentation for all tests performed.Communicate timely and accurate analytical information to customers.Follow all SOP's and aid in the review of laboratory procedures.Work both independently and as a member of a team.Assist co-workers in other lab areas when needed and as assigned by management.Satisfactorily perform other duties and tasks as required by management.Participate in functional team activities including safety, housekeeping, quality/process improvement, training, etc.Qualifications & Competency Requirements
