Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Plumbing Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with construction management software and scheduling tools. As a Project Superintendent, you will coordinate with various teams, manage subcontractors, enforce safety protocols, and ensure that all project specifications are met with precision and professionalism.
Duties
Lead daily operations on construction sites, ensuring work progresses according to schedule and safety standards are strictly followedCollaborate with project managers and engineers to interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plansSupervise subcontractors and construction crews, providing clear direction and oversight to maintain productivity and qualityUtilize construction management software such as ProCore, Keep&Share, Monday, and other tools to develop schedules, track progress, and manage documentationMonitor project budgets and costs; assist in construction estimating and budgeting activities to stay within financial targetsConduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets contract requirements, schematics, and industry standardsOversee safety compliance by enforcing OSHA regulations and conducting regular safety audits on-siteRead blueprints and schematics accurately; interpret technical drawings for installation and construction activitiesMaintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, change orders, and progress reports for project documentationOversee Installations of Plumbing SystemsCall and Call off rental equipment as neededPaint Saw-cut Layouts for Underground PlumbingMake material list for Ground, Overhead and top out SystemsDispatch Materials from Suppliers to Job SitesExperience
Proven heavy civil or commercial construction site experience with a strong background in managing large-scale projectsSupervising experience leading teams of tradespeople and subcontractors in a fast-paced environmentExtensive knowledge of construction management practices including scheduling , budgeting, and cost controlHands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accuratelyDemonstrated ability to enforce safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standardsOther Qualifications
