Duties
Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality throughout each shiftPlan menus in collaboration with dietary and culinary teams, incorporating diverse and nutritious optionsHandle food with care, maintaining proper food safety and sanitation standards at all timesAssist with food presentation, garnishing dishes to enhance visual appeal for fine dining or catering eventsManage meal preparation from start to finish, including ingredient measurement, cooking techniques, and platingSupport dietary aides by providing guidance on food handling procedures and meal assemblyMaintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces, adhering to health regulationsRequirements
Proven experience in dietary departments or food service environments, preferably with dietary aide or culinary backgroundStrong knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practicesSkilled in menu planning, meal preparation, and cooking techniques across various cuisinesExperience in fine dining or catering settings is highly desirableExcellent knife skills and proficiency in food industry standards for food safety and quality controlAbility to work efficiently from early morning through late afternoon hours with minimal supervisionPrior restaurant or kitchen experience demonstrating ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentJoin us as a Full Time Cook and bring your culinary talents to life!
