• May assist the Plater in cleaning tanks.
• Performs visual inspection of parts to ensure no over plating.
• Use air hose to dry parts upon completion of plating cycle.
• Prepares and packages parts for shipping.
ITAR REQUIREMENT:
Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

§ Monitor equipment performance through routine inspections, troubleshooting, and testing; respond promptly to abnormal sounds, smells, temperatures, or performance changes.

Qualifications

§ Experience with electrical systems, including 480/220/110V, motors, contactors, frequency drives, and diagnostic tools such as multimeters (electrical experience preferred).
§ Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding and the use of hand, shop, and precision maintenance tools (micrometers, dial indicators, calipers).
§ Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing production machinery independently, including emergency response and problem resolution.
§ Knowledgeable in proper lubrication and preventive maintenance practices for bearings, chains, and mechanical components.
§ Proficient in Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and committed to quality, safety, and GMP standards. Able to read, interpret, and apply technical documentation, including schematics, CAD drawings, engineering designs, manuals, and regulatory guidelines.
