    Overview
    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant with a strong background in allergy and immunology to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic outpatient clinic setting.


    Responsibilities

    ·       Perform intradermal and skin prick/puncture allergy testing with accuracy and attention to patient safety; monitor and document patient responses in accordance with clinical protocols.

    ·       Deliver subcutaneous immunotherapy (SCIT) injections and other specialty biologic medications following provider orders, while monitoring the patient and responding to any adverse reactions.

    ·       Assist in the preparation, supervision, and documentation of medically supervised oral food and drug challenges; ensure emergency protocols are followed in the event of a reaction.

    ·       Conduct spirometry and other lung function assessments to support the diagnosis and management of asthma and respiratory conditions; educate patients on proper technique and effort for valid test results.

    Requirements

    2–3 years of hands-on experience in an allergy and immunology clinical setting preferredCurrent MA certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)Current BLS/CPR certificationProficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systemsStrong attention to detail, ability to follow clinical protocols, and commitment to patient-centered careExcellent communication and organizational skills; ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment

    Overview

    Cincinnati Allergy and Asthma Center is seeking an experienced, compassionate Infusion Nurse to join our team in the outpatient clinic setting. This role is essential to delivering safe, high-quality patient care with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.

    The ideal candidate will bring strong infusion nursing expertise, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced specialty environment. Experience in allergy and immunology is preferred.

    Key Qualifications

    · General infusion nursing experience and strong clinical skills

    · The ability to insert and manage intravenous catheters precisely and safely

    · Interpersonal skills, compassion and patient care skills necessary to educate patients and caregivers about procedures and post-infusion care

    · Careful attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

    · Ability to work independently while collaborating with the broader care team

    · Specialized knowledge of allergy and immunology preferred

     

    Responsibilities

    · Assess patients before administering IVIG treatments

    · Administer medications and other fluids through IV lines

    · Monitor patients throughout their infusions to identify issues early

    · Respond to side effects or reactions to treatments based on emergency protocol measures

    · Explain procedures to patients and their families

    · Collaborate with other care team members

    · Maintain detailed records of all patient care in the infusion software (Fusebox)

     

    Requirements

    Must possess a current RN license in the state of Ohio2–3 years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting preferredMust be proficient in IV placement and infusion managementAbility to operate infusion pumps, manage IV therapy equipment, and use EMR/EHR systemsEffective communication, organizational, and documentation skills; compassionate, flexible, and positive attitudeThe ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
