    Description:

    We are looking to add a full-time seasoned Quality Inspector to our team. The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of the articles on which the repair station or any of its contractors perform maintenance or alterations.

    QA inspector must perform all scopes of inspections for articles being maintained by the Repair Station to include all tasks per work order requirements and fulfillment. The Quality Inspector will become familiar with the methods and procedures used by the Repair Station designed to comply with all applicable regulations, manufacturer's specifications, customer and industry standards, and guidance. They may be delegated the authority from the Chief Inspector to write Quality reports, such as warranty and 'condition as received' reports. You must demonstrate the ability to shift priorities when needed to support company goals and be willing to contribute to finding solutions to problems when needed.

    Requirements:

    Perform Receiving Inspection of precision aerospace parts Responsible for Witnessing and signing off acceptance testing of all jobs assigned to you, while ensuring paperwork is being completed, approved and filed in accordance with applicable procedures and instructions. Perform detailed evaluation of supplier certifications relating to all drawing notes Perform competent use of computer skills to record inspection data, complete reports, research specifications, and help maintain training records. Responsible for ensuring that all inspections assigned to you are properly performed and recorded, and all records are properly executed before for final approval and return to service for articles maintained or altered by this Repair Station. Integrate honesty and accountability into all job responsibilities Other duties as assigned by the Chief Inspector

    Experience and Skills

    Airframe and Power plant license requiredAviation experience required (+5 years of QA experience)Must be thoroughly familiar with the applicable 14CFR 145 regulations and with the inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used to determine the airworthiness of the article on which maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations are being performedProficient in using the various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids appropriate for the article being inspectedAbility to read, write and communicate effectively, both written and verbal in English & SpanishComputer literacy required, proficiency in Word, Excel, etc.Must be local

    Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings and a basic background check.2+ years of related mechanical experience (aviation, automotive, marine, electronics, industrial equipment, or similar fields considered).Must own a basic set of personal hand tools.Ability to read and follow detailed instructions, written procedures, technical drawings, blueprints, and OEM manuals.Strong mechanical skills, diagnostic ability, and problem-solving capability.Excellent English communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).Detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized, punctual, and reliable.Valid driver's license.

    Physical Requirements
