    Summary

    CHS has an exciting opportunity on our Energy Finance team. We are looking for an Expert Financial Analyst that will play a pivotal role for financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities at our corporate headquarters in Inver Grove Heights, MN, as part of our refined fuels product line. This position delivers high-impact insights that drive profitability, efficiency and alignment with enterprise objectives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, with natural curiosity and a desire to learn.

    Responsibilities

    Lead financial reporting, dashboards, and models to communicate performance, KPIs, and variances vs. plan and forecast.
    Deliver advanced financial analysis and insights to support margin improvement, risk management, and decision making.
    Own the QFR (Quarterly Financial Results) process for Refined Fuels and communicate monthly variances through various reporting packages.
    Partner with cross functional stakeholders to influence outcomes and support strategic initiatives.
    Support the annual budget and forecast processes, coordinating timelines, inputs, and deliverables.
    Lead the financial management and performance oversight of the commercial supporting business P&Ls
    Drive automation and process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
    Set priorities and provide clear direction to analysts to drive timely and accurate project outcomes.
    Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications (required) Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business, Business Administration, or related field 7+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and/or Financial Planning and Analysis Additional Qualifications

    Proficient in MS Office suite
    Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and analytical skills, as well as deep understanding of various financial statements (e.g. income statement and balance sheet)
    Experience with SAP planning and reporting modules preferred
    CPA or MBA preferred

    Summary

    As an Associate in the Finance Shared Services Rotational Program, you will have the opportunity to work with corporate finance shared services and accounting professionals and business team leaders and members and other financial shared services associates. Our goal is to develop early career finance shared services professionals at CHS by exposing rotational program participants to a wide variety of experiences across the finance shared services area. The CHS Finance Shared Services Rotational Program is a unique opportunity for motivated candidates with excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills who possess a strong desire to succeed and an ability to build strong relationships.     The three-year CHS Finance Shared Services Rotational Program provides an opportunity to grow professionally, gaining knowledge and experience through on-the-job training in three, 12-month rotations. Rotations include but are not limited to: Corporate Order to Cash, Procure to Pay and Grain Settlements process flows. Each assignment will allow participants to build strong finance and accounting foundational skills, partnerships with a variety of leaders, and broad networks across CHS.

    New associates entering the Finance Shared Services Rotational Program will begin in June of 2026 and will join CHS with an incoming cohort for the program.

We are seeking a Supply Distribution Expert to oversee the efficient and safe distribution of refined petroleum products from the refinery to storage terminals, pipelines, and end customers. This role ensures compliance with operational standards, optimizes logistics, and maintains accurate inventory and scheduling to support continuous supply chain operations. You must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.     Responsibilities

    Distribution Planning:

    Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly distribution schedules for refined products.Coordinate with pipeline operators, terminal managers, and transportation providers to ensure timely delivery.Utilize and support the Development of Advanced Distribution Modeling tools to optimize refined product placement to various markets.

    Inventory Management:

    Monitor product levels at the refinery and terminals to prevent shortages or overstock.Maintain accurate records of product movements and reconcile discrepancies.

    Logistics Coordination:

    Optimize transportation routes and modes (pipeline, truck, rail) for cost efficiency and reliability.Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during product transfer.Identify logistics limitations and work with the refinery economics team to incorporate limits in the refinery LP model.

    Operational Monitoring:

    Use control systems to track product flow and detect anomalies.Respond to operational issues, including scheduling conflicts or equipment downtime.

    Stakeholder Communication:

    Liaise with internal teams (refinery operations, economics, maintenance, finance) and external partners (carriers, terminals).Provide regular updates on distribution performance and KPIs.

    Compliance & Safety:

    Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations governing fuel distribution.Implement best practices for spill prevention and emergency response.
