    ChristianaCare's Imaging Department is currently recruiting for a Part-Time MRI Technologist to work at Newark Hospital during the midnight shift.

    As a MRI Technologist: Performs MRI procedures as defined by departmental protocolsPerforms duties in RIS, HIS, and Intergy computer systems and accurately enter patient data.Completes transmission of optimum quality images to PACS systemEnsures adequate history of patient is obtained and documentedPerforms QC and is able to digitize filmsProvides superior customer service to patients, family members, and all members of the health care teamPerforms assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.Demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to provide care appropriate to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients , including knowledge of growth and development, the ability to obtain and interpret information to identify patient needs, and provide the care needed. Requirements: Completion of ARRT registry required. (Successful completion of the MRI Registry exam is a job requirement.
