Christ Indy UMC is seeking an energetic and spiritually mature musician to serve as the THIRST Music Director.
This part-time ministry position provides musical and spiritual leadership for our contemporary worship service while cultivating an engaging worship environment and developing a team of volunteer musicians and vocalists.
What You’ll Do
· Lead music during weekly THIRST worship services
· Build worship sets that support sermon themes
· Recruit, mentor, and develop volunteer musicians and vocalists
· Coordinate rehearsals and communicate schedules
· Lead sound checks and Sunday morning preparation
· Foster an encouraging and Christ-Centered worship culture
· Participate in church staff meetings

This part-time ministry position is responsible for developing and managing the church’s communications across digital platforms while helping members and visitors stay connected to the life of the church. The successful candidate will combine creativity, technical skills, and strong communication abilities to support the church’s ministries and outreach efforts.
What You’ll Do
· Manage and update the church website
· Produce weekly and monthly church newsletters
· Create engaging social media content
· Design graphics, promotional materials, and email campaigns
· Capture photos and videos during worship services and special events
· Maintain interior and exterior digital displays
· Coordinate communications with ministry leaders
· Develop a communications calendar and branding strategy
· Track communication effectiveness through analytics and feedback
· Attend church staff meetings

· Experience with websites, social media, graphic design, or digital communications
