A service advisor acts as the primary liaison between automotive customers and technicians, facilitating vehicle repairs, maintenance, and service sales. They greet customers, diagnose concerns, create repair orders, estimate costs, and provide updates, aiming to ensure high customer satisfaction and efficient service workflow.
Key responsibilities include:
Customer Communication: Answering inquiries, explaining repair needs, and managing expectations.Sales & Service: Selling maintenance packages, managing service appointments, and maximizing service department profits.Documentation: Creating detailed repair orders (RO) and ensuring proper approval for work.- Alldata systemTechnician Liaison: Explaining customer concerns to technicians and communicating technical findings back to the customer.Warranty Knowledge: Verifying warranty, service contracts, and explaining coverage.
Requirements & Skills:
