    We are looking for an elementary special education teacher with the motivation and dedication needed to help our students meet their potential. Duties: Your role as a Special Education Teacher will involve several responsibilities which will include but are not limited to: Provide direct and indirect instructional support to students in a positive environment. Employs multi-sensory teaching strategies and specialized instruction as needed based on student’s specific needs Implement all modifications and accommodations each student Create educational plans in collaboration with the student’s therapy team Conduct annual educational plans with parents as well as meetings requested in the year. Tracks student performance and progress and is responsible for continual improvement in student growth objectives Participate in school, departmental, and parent meetings Participate in school events, activities, and programs both during and outside of regular class instruction hours. Qualifications & Experience A belief in every student’s limitless potential A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required (Official transcripts showing degree conferred are required prior to the starting date of employment) A minimum of two years of teaching in a special education self-contained or inclusive classroom A collaborative attitude towards teaching and learning Nice to Haves: Master’s degree in special education/Varying exceptionalities Employment Type: Full Time Bonus/Commission: No Read Less
