Asst. Kitchen Operations Manager
Due to rapid growth, we are seeking an exceptional Asst. Kitchen Operations Manager to join our team of high-performing leaders. This role is critical to the success of our market-leading restaurant and is ideal for someone who is passionate about service, hospitality, and developing people.
As an Asst. Kitchen Operations Manager, you will oversee daily kitchen operations while working closely with the franchise operator and leadership team to drive excellence in quality, efficiency, and team culture. You will be trained to high standards of food quality and hospitality and will play a key role in shaping the future of our restaurant.
Flexible availability is required. Early mornings, evenings, nights, Saturdays, and many major holidays are expected.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient, timely, and high-quality food production.Supervise, motivate, and lead kitchen staff; assign duties and hold team members accountable to established standards.Monitor food quality, presentation, taste, temperature, and safety to consistently meet or exceed expectations.Ensure proper use of kitchen equipment and strict adherence to health, safety, and food safety regulations.Track and document food waste, spoilage, loss, and donations.Collaborate with a team of high-performing leaders to manage and improve overall restaurant operations.
Leadership & Development
Develop and implement processes and procedures that improve efficiency, quality, and safety.Train new kitchen team members and provide ongoing coaching and development for existing staff.Foster a culture of care, service, and hospitality aligned with our mission, vision, and core values.Work closely with the franchise operator to grow leadership skills and advance operational expertise.Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive attitude while creating a fun, supportive work environment.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years leading a high-performing team, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment.Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated strong work ethic and commitment to high performance.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.Authorized to work in the United States.Knowledge of food preparation, kitchen equipment, and safety regulations preferred but not required.
