Essential Duties reading instructions or utilization Assisting with personal care tasks i.e. shaving, shampooing and combing hair Assisting with bathing, toileting, dressing brushing and cleaning teeth and dentures Assist with the appropriate use of equipment or supplies (canes, wheelchairs, etc.) when transferring a client from the bed to a chair or to and from the bath or toilet Assisting the client with range of motion (such as sitting up or standing) Escort client to medical facilities, shopping and errands or individual business as specified in the plan of care Assist shopping or running of errands Actively participates in all staff meetings, monthly in-service training and regular supervision Qualification Requirements: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.) Education: High School Graduate/ GED equivalent or prior verifiable experience Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of relevant work experience Ability to speak / write English Bilingual ability a plus (Spanish, Russian, Polish) Be in compliance with all existing regulations and company policies.
