Job description:Based in Chicago, Chi Renovation and Design is a multi-faceted company that combines both interior design and build services, working mostly on residential properties located on the North Shore and in the City of Chicago. We are seeking entrepreneurial minded individuals to add to our ever growing team of Construction Interior Designers.We desire individuals who are self-motivated, innovative, creative, and customer friendly. This person will work closely with head interior designer and clients to understand their requirements, present ideas, select materials and create 3d drawings and construction drawings. This person will also be required to create and submit cabinet orders.The ideal candidate for this position would have the following experience within the industry:Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences and needsCreate and present design concepts and mood boards to clientsDevelop detailed interior design plans, including space planning, furniture layouts, and material selectionsCreate 3d and construction drawingsSelect and source furniture, fixtures, finishes, and accessories that align with the design conceptCreate drawings and orders for cabinetsCoordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of design projectsManage project timelines and budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within budgetOversee the installation of design elements and provide on-site supervision as neededStay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations in interior designREQUIREMENTS:Knowledge and experience in the industry of home renovationBachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related fieldProficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit, CAD, and other design softwareStrong knowledge of lighting sales, budgeting, remodeling, project management, and interior design principlesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team membersAttention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamIf you are interested please forward us your cover letter, resume and portfolio.
