    Responsibilities
    Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus and $10,000 educational assistance available to external candidates Great Opportunity for a New Graduate!! Full Time Opportunity Performs various diagnostic cardiology and/or peripheral vascular exams including but not limited to: Vascular Imaging, Cardiac Imaging, Noninvasive Cardiac TestingCorroborates clinical history and assesses patient for appropriateness of ordered procedureProvides patient education, applies patient relations skills and maintain confidentiality of patients and customers in a safe and professional mannerAssumes responsibility for assigned area, reporting equipment malfunctions and procedure difficultiesResponsible for completing quarterly mandatory education requirements Assumes responsibility for personal and professional development through participation in department meetings, in-service programs, and continuing education programsPerforms value-added activities that result in positive customer satisfaction and/or financial performanceParticipates in Quality Improvement and Accreditation activities as assignedParticipates in all safety, security, and infection control programs that are mandatory as well as those required and provided by the departmentWhen scheduled on-call, must be able to respond within 30 minutes of notificationMay require light travel or floating to other CHI Health facilities and/or outreach sites as needed to provide staffing support.  This applies to all locationsAll team members are responsible for maintaining a positive work environment and participating in departmental problem-solvingOther duties as assigned by department leader.
    Qualifications
    EducationGraduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent clinical job training.Licenses and RequirementsMinimum of two registries in:Adult Cardiac Sonography (RDCS-AE) – ARDMS orRegistered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) – CCI and Vascular Technology (RVT) – ARDMS orRegistered Vascular Specialist (RVS) - CCI Graduates from a dual cardiac and vascular ultrasound program are eligible for hire and must obtain both their adult echo and vascular registries within 12 months of hire dateAHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of start dateKnowledge, Skills & Abilities       Must be familiar with standard cardiac and/or peripheral vascular ultrasound views, equipment, and controls       Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology       Knowledge of basic maintenance and upkeep of equipment       Ability to effectively communicate with team members, physicians, patients, hospital staff, and departmental supervisor in a courteous and professional manner       Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and professional standards       Demonstrates personal traits of motivation, quality, teamwork, professionalism, and integrity.     Job Description
    Responsibilities
    *Sign on Bonus for full time $5,000*What you will do:Greets patient utilizing AIDET, verifies patient in identification, reviews chart for proper radiation treatment parameters and physician prescriptionsInforms patients and families about the treatment process and answers questionsPrepares patients for treatment. Positions equipment according to planTakes portal films or IGRT scans to ensure treatment protocols are accurately set up and followed Verifies proper dosage of ionizing radiation for patient as prescribed by physician Monitors patient throughout treatment process by checking video monitors and intercom Informs physician anytime patient experiences distress or side effects related to treatment processRecords each patients’ treatment in EMR and proper notes for accurate treatment and set-upMaintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the filed by reading appropriate journals, books, and other literature and attending related seminars, conferences and education opportunities.
    Qualifications
