Job Summary:
The HR Generalist reports to the Senior HR Manager and serves as a primary point of contact for key Human Resources functions, including bi-weekly payroll, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and general HR administrative support.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Payroll: manages payroll processing through ADP Workforce, including regular and special payroll runs / prepares off cycle checks as needed; works closely with supervisors and team leads to ensure timecards are accurately processed. Ensure all new hires are set-up appropriately and positioned in correct departments etc. Responds timely to employment verification requests, and unemployment claims.Benefit Administration supports new hire and annual open enrollments, responds to employee benefit inquiries, processes terminations (as requested) ensuring appropriate vacation payouts are managed effectively, and benefit carrier enrollments are terminated. Works closely with location contact to appropriately schedule employee dental services adhering to CD Employee Dental Program policy.Recruitment: manages full cycle recruitment including posting, pre-screens, interview schedules etc., obtains feedback and ensures new hires are appropriately on board. Ensure federal, state, and local employment laws are adhered to while supporting a positive candidate experience.On boarding: Supports new hires with pre-employment activities and conducts New Hire Orientations.Compliance: Ensures all locations have appropriate Massachusetts’s employment posters, conducts audits, prepares reports for regulatory requirements.HR Systems & Reporting: maintains accurate employee records, and generates reports for workforce planning, HR analytics, and compliance purposes.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience required.2+ years of HRG experience that includes processing payroll; ideally ADP Workforce.Must have at least 1-2 years of experience recruiting exempt and non-exempt positions. At least one year of experience with an HRIS is required.SHRM-CP or HR Certification highly preferred.

Requirements:
Three years dental front desk experience
Experience in an orthodontic or periodontic practice preferred
Scheduling Responsibilities:
• Ensures that ortho schedule is filled accurately. Checks schedule a week in advance to ensure accuracy.
• Oversees scheduling and conducts the non-clinical portion of all consultation appointments.
• Works with clinicians and Operations Manager/scheduler to accommodate changes in schedule.
• Maintains information on overdue ortho adjustment appointments; schedules as soon as possible.
Financial/Insurance:
• Ensures that insurance information, contracts and financial arrangements are correct and completed in a timely fashion for patients beginning treatment.
• Responsible for financial arrangements for Invisalign patients.
• Sends pretreatment estimates to insurance companies.
Administrative:
• Monitors numbers and conversion rates for starts, new patients, consults, recalls, dismissals and generates weekly and monthly reports; follow up as needed.
• Works with clinicians on goals, i.e. number of starts expected
• Generates monthly production reports.
• Follows up on patients who have had consults and not booked starts.
• Works with Operations Manager or her designee to ensure accurate information on patients who have been asked to schedule initial appointments. Follow up as needed.

Position Summary
The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for the Needham dental practice at Chestnut Dental Associates and is reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The Practice Manager is responsible for ensuring exceptional patient care, operational efficiency, and team engagement. This role provides leadership to both administrative and clinical staff, partners closely with providers and staff to optimize scheduling and service delivery and ensures compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
The Practice Manager drives production and performance goals, fosters a positive workplace culture, and supports the doctors in achieving overall practice objectives.
Essential Responsibilities
Operational Leadership

Position Summary
The Dental Hygienist performs dental hygiene duties to promote quality dental care in a stress-free, safe, and welcoming environment. This role includes scaling, prophylaxis, digital x-rays (DEXIS), documentation, and patient and parent education.
