As we proudly celebrate 90 years of craftsmanship and innovation, Charter Casting is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. 5 Positions Available at Charter Casting 2900 E Richmond St, Shawano, WI 54166 Molding Operator | 1st Shift (10-hour shifts, Mon-Thur, 6am-4pm) | $23/hr Operate molding machines and set cores Assemble and prepare sand molds for pouring Inspect and prepare all patterns, set up mold production Coordinate Operate melting furnace charging equipment Learn to operate the melting furnaces. Transport melting materials and supplies from the warehouse or other locations to the melt deck. Remove full slag hoppers from the melt deck and transport to commercial refuse containers. Responsible for own safety and the safety of others in the area. Core Operator | 1st or 3rd shift (12-hour shifts) | $23-$25.25/hr Make and prepare sand cores using molds to form holes or hollows in iron castings. Including set up, adjustments, and troubleshooting multiple pieces of equipment.
