You will provide a patient-centered experience working with premium and independent frame lines within a supportive clinical and retail team environment, supervised by an optometrist.
Responsibilities
Deliver outstanding customer service focused on patient satisfactionAdjust and fit frames for optimal comfort and appearanceSelect frames tailored to patient needs and preferencesEdge using in-office finishing equipment or place job ordersDispense lenses accurately and efficientlyOrder trials and maintain stock for Contact Lens Evaluation & Fitting ServicesProcess insurance claims including VSP and EyeMedMaintain extensive product knowledge of frame and lens optionsManage inventory to ensure stock availability
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of dispensing optician experienceCompletion of an accredited opticianry training programABOC certificationProficiency in frame fitting and lens technologyStrong communication skills and attention to detailKnowledge of effective sales techniques
This role utilizes dedicated optical spreadsheets along with Practice Management and EHR software for patient and inventory management. Expected travel is 10-20% to Fullerton, CA. Growth opportunities include cross-training as an Optometrist Assistant and specialization in contact lenses.
