    As a Quality Control Inspector in a precision machining environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring that all products meet strict standards before they ship. Your day-to-day duties will include:Performing 1st article, in-process, and final inspections on machined partsUsing precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gaugesConducting visual inspections to detect surface or dimensional defectsApproving parts for shipment or identifying rework needsRecording and reporting inspection results in the quality system databaseWorking directly with the Quality Manager to uphold standardsLifting parts up to 40 lbs as neededRequired Qualifications1.5 to 3 years' experience in manufacturing quality controlComfortable using inspection tools and reading blueprintsStrong understanding of tight tolerancesExcellent attention to detail, logic, and communication skillsProficient in English - able to read, write, and communicate clearlyComfortable standing and bending throughout the shiftBasic computer and data entry skills requiredGD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) experience is a plusDress Code & Work EnvironmentSteel toe boots, jeans, and t-shirt requiredClean, well-lit 20,000 sq. ft. facilityFriendly, collaborative environment with both men and women working in the shopProjects range from small prototypes to large production runs
