Easy Cam Service Tech
DEPARTMENT: Customer Service
REPORTS TO: Technical Service Manager
STATUS: EXEMPT
Consistently delivers an incredible customer service experience by offering knowledge, advice, and repair solutions. Answers questions and concerns related to the after-sales repair and service of our sewer camera products. Willingly shares ideas for improvements to the design, sourcing, and manufacturing of sewer camera products.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES
· Diagnose and repair machines.
· Manage timely completion of the returns and repairs process.
· Package and ship repair parts to customers.
· Manage inventory and maintain standards.
· Answer calls and provide technical and trouble-shooting support to customers.
· Provide support as needed to manufacture or build new machines.
· Works with engineering and product management on product design, improvements and features.
· Responsible for maintaining a working relationship with all vendors on technical issues, service and replacement parts.
· Maintains parts and operator’s manuals.
· Maintains a clean and organized work environment
· Reports and maintains service department metrics.
· Regular predictable attendance.
· Other duties as assigned.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· High school diploma or GED equivalent
· 3 to 5 years’ experience with electro-mechanical machinery a plus
· Self-starter and self-motivated
· Strong time management and organizational skills are a must; can follow the 5s methodology
· Strong mechanical problem-solving skills
· Excellent oral and written skills
· Works well under pressure and manages stressful situations with ease
· Computer literate and proficient
· Able to travel domestically as needed
