We are seeking a talented Carpenter to join our team! In this role, you will construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard using the carpenters hand and power tools. Responsibilities
Follow all safety rules and regulationsMaintain a clean and safe work environmentUse blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials neededConstruct wood structures including framing, joists, and raftersInstall fixtures and materials such as windows, flooring, trim, and hardwareInteract with customers, suppliers, and other construction professionalsQualifications
Previous experience as a Carpenter is preferredStrong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurementsAbility to read and take action on blueprintsAbility to safely operate hand and power carpentry toolsKnowledge of building regulations and codesAbility to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
