    Job Summary:

    The Rotating Equipment Engineer provides engineering and technical expertise to ensure continuous and efficient plant operations, with a strong focus on the reliability and maintenance of rotating and reciprocating equipment. This role serves as the technical specialist concerning critical mechanical systems, supporting predictive/preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and strategic planning for routine, shutdown, and project activities.

    Job Description:

    Key Responsibilities:Lead predictive and preventive maintenance programs, including condition monitoring techniques such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, and ultrasonic inspections.Design and update maintenance procedures, lubrication programs, and preventive maintenance schedules for all critical machinery, ensuring their effectiveness through continuous review and improvement.Monitor critical plant equipment via continuous and offline data collection systems (e.g., Bently Nevada System1), analyzing results and recommending corrective actions to maintain equipment integrity.Conduct root cause failure analyses, prepare technical reports, and provide recommendations to resolve equipment-related issues.Serve as the mechanical acceptance specialist for newly installed rotating equipment, ensuring proper installation, testing, and compliance with mechanical standards.Oversee the technical review and selection of new rotating and reciprocating equipment, including procurement support, spare parts lists, and vendor recommendations.     Position Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution (preferred Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical). Experience: 2+ years of engineering experience in a plant environment.Skills:Proficiency in using software tools like Microsoft Office Suite, CMMS systems (e.g., Avantis, SAP), and AutoCAD.Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills for effective technical discussions and reporting.Basic understanding of plant processes and manufacturing equipment, especially related to anhydrous ammonia and urea fertilizers.Experience with troubleshooting and failure analysis techniques for rotating and reciprocating equipment.

    Job Summary:

    The Sr Environmental Health Safety Auditor is responsible for leading audits to assess the effectiveness of EHS program work processes, and of CF locations meeting company and regulatory compliance expectations. The incumbent provides direct support in planning, implementation and training necessary to maintain the overall proficiency of the EHS audit process. This position requires an individual that is self-motivated with a good working knowledge of auditing practices, risk management principles, chemical processes, and safety policies and programs.     Job Description:

    Major Responsibilities :

    Assurance Support Develops, plans and leads EHS audits based on company requirements as well as risks inherent to the business Compiles audit observations to identify improvements to EHS programs and work processes. Provides auditing expertise to improve management systems and compliance audit practices throughout the CF network.
    Industrial Knowledge Experienced in evaluating and managing systems related to multiple EHS disciplines: Occupational Safety and Health, Process Safety, Environmental, Security, Emergency Planning and Response, Sustainability. Responsible for knowing CF internal standards and how they apply to CF Locations. Knowledgeable in operations of chemical processes and equipment, as well as hazards which can arise from a chemical manufacturing environment. Experience in nitrogen fertilizer manufacturing processes, technology, and equipment. Leadership, Communication and Development Presents audit results to senior leadership to facilitate change action within the organization. Communicates and collaborates with the Corporate EHS team and all levels of management and personnel. Develops and mentors other auditors and guest audit team members on the CF audit process. Proactively interacts with functions outside of EHS to gather information and make recommendations for audit process improvements. Identifies, documents and communicates Location EHS Best Practices that can be shared with other CF Locations. Utilizes the Corporate EMIS system to set up audit templates, and generate reports on audits, audit findings, and action item tracking. Utilizes EMIS data to direct company EHS audit focus.
    Supervisory Relationships: Position Reports To: Mgr, EHS Engineering and Projects
    Incumbent Attributes: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or EHS-related field required Minimum of 5 years of auditing experience (compliance and/or management systems). A thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques. Minimum of 5 years of experience managing or developing EHS programs for multiple EHS disciplines. Knowledge of applicable EHS regulations and best practices in program management. Preferred experience in the nitrogen fertilizer, chemicals, or petrochemical industries with an understanding of key processes and risks. Ability to interpret procedures, design information, and process safety information to evaluate occupational and process hazards. Keen problem solving and critical thinking skills required to effectively evaluate operational risks and controls. Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills to discuss work product findings, and can summarize complex concepts in a concise manner with all levels of management and facility personnel. Time management and organizational skills; including the ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks within specified timelines. Experience in working with data systems to generate reports. Demonstrated proficiency and technically capable in MS Office Suite. Must be able to travel to CF Manufacturing and DF terminals up to 50% of the time. Physical ability to climb ladders and function within a chemical plant environment
    Estimated base pay for the position is typically between: $91,500 - $120,700

    The actual base pay for the position may be influenced by factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and scope of the role, and could be outside of the posted pay range.

Complete performance evaluations and generate recommendations to resolve identified problems found in process equipment including compressors, turbines, heat exchangers, absorbers, strippers, boilers, combustion equipment, and reactors. Provide process optimization, troubleshooting, data analysis, and technical support to the operations organization. Provide detailed engineering support and monitor / expedite assigned jobs through the Management of Change process to ensure timely execution. Evaluate and participate in the development of potential capital improvement projects to increase production capacity, improve energy efficiency, and enhance EHS performance. Prepare and review documents including PFDs, P&IDs, scopes of work, and equipment specifications to support capital improvement project budget authorization requests and approved project execution. Provide detailed written justifications for management approval. Review new operational procedures and conduct training for operations personnel for significant changes. Participate in PHAs, LOPA studies, and incident investigations. Identify and implement solutions to EHS related action items to meet schedule requirements. Assist Maintenance and Operations during turnarounds by providing pre-turnaround process engineering recommendations, assisting in planning specialty work, performing equipment inspections related to process issues, monitoring equipment repairs that can affect the process, coordinating catalyst replacements, and assisting with plant restarts. Continually evaluate ways to improve site safety, including, but not limited to developing and implementing solutions to meet CF Operating Standards. Maintain a professional working relationship with all departments.
    Internal Controls:

    Understands and complies with established departmental processes and procedures designed to support internal controls efforts. Identifies and brings to the attention of department management internal controls deficiencies.

    Successful incumbents will have:BS degree in Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.Seven or more years of engineering related experience in the oil, gas, or chemical manufacturing industry preferred.Seven or more years of experience with capital project development and/or execution preferred.Strong communication skills (written and verbal) required.     Job Description:

    • The successful Process Engineer will develop and manage small capital projects to increase production capacity, improve energy efficiency, and enhance EHS performance.

    The Maintenance Engineer provides engineering/technical expertise to the maintenance department and other plant departments as needed to maintain continuous plant operation and high efficiency. This position provides mechanical expertise to the maintenance department in solving problems relating to mechanical equipment, instrumentation, and the preventive maintenance program for routine, shutdown, and project activities. The Maintenance Engineer also serves as technical specialist for plant rotating equipment to achieve facility objectives.

    Job Responsibilities:Provides the technical expertise necessary to solve specific maintenance problems and to assist other departments requiring engineering knowledge.Assists in the review of all new rotating and reciprocating equipment prior to purchase and recommends proper selections including spare parts lists. Assists the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Planner with pre-planning of all planned turnarounds, shutdowns, and special projects including timing, accumulation of job lists, ordering of parts and materials, sequencing of jobs around a critical path, sizing of work crews based on job estimation, and preparation of an overall schedule. During the execution of these projects, monitors and advises the Maintenance Manager daily of the work progress.Promotes the standardization throughout the plant of such widely used items as pumps, valves, instruments, etc., to simplify maintenance work, standardize work methods, reduce Stores inventory, and reduce manufacturing cost.Communicates with production management on problems relating to mechanical failures and offers suggestions. Prepares engineering designs and specifications of various rotating equipment, process equipment and piping relative to new or replacement equipment installation.Assists with the PSM Mechanical Integrity program for the Woodward Complex while maintaining the existing maintenance procedures and training programs.Manages Capital Projects.Assists in monitoring the Mechanical Integrity documentation required to maintain the plant computerized maintenance management system.Performs technical investigations/audits or independent research in equipment and material failures, documenting the results and making recommendations to resolve issues.Assists Reliability Technicians with all critical items of machinery and equipment and lubrication programs for all plant machinery.     You Have:Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree preferred.5+ years of experience in project execution in a nitrogen fertilizer manufacturing plant, chemical manufacturing facility or refinery (preferred).10+ years of experience in an engineering role.Previous experience supervising a team of engineers or a strong technical background in the fertilizer manufacturing industry.Experience in project management and implementation.Significant experience with capital project (>$5M) scope development, estimating, and execution.Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.Experience managing multidisciplinary teams or contractors (consultants, I&E, welding, fitting, crane, pipefitting, etc.).
