    Job Summary:

    You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and lead a team of Project Engineers. You will oversee project engineering activities and guide the project engineering group.     Function:
    Maintenance

    Job Summary:

    This position is accountable for providing technical/maintenance planning support to the maintenance piping department. The Maintenance Piping Planner is responsible for planning daily maintenance and long-term project work correctly and efficiently. The Maintenance Piping Planner will work in the plants Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) system to plan jobs for execution by the maintenance technicians, which includes preparing job packages, and ordering parts for the specific job. Other tasks include analyzing a technical problem, field checking, specifying applicable equipment, developing cost and scheduling estimates. The Maintenance Planner is responsible for ensuring design safety by incorporating CF standards, government codes, and sound engineering design practices.

    Job Description:

    Key Job Elements:

    • Orderly flow of the work order system ensuring work requested by the customer is completed on a timely basis.

    • Plans all non-emergency work orders in a timely manner with Production and Maintenance Supervision.

    • Work with Procurement, Engineering and outside suppliers as required to order non-stock parts and materials required to complete task and lists them in the work order plan.

    • Maintaining equipment records, such as Bills of Material and specification sheets, within the CMMS.

    • Maintaining, and updating as necessary, a Preventative Maintenance (PM) program.

    • Monitors PM completion efficiency and backlog and recommends actions to maintain completion compliance.

    • Participate in planning detailed shutdown and turnaround work.

    • Develops a plan for completion of all the work orders, including an estimate of the labor required and a listing of the parts or materials needed.

    • Specifies and reserves the stock materials necessary for completion of the job and lists in the job plan.

    • Specifies tools and special equipment necessary for completion of the work order.

    • Completes the job plan and forwards the work order & work package to the Maintenance Scheduler for scheduling.

    • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Technicians, Engineering, and outside contractors during job execution as necessary.

    • Works with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance to coordinate installation, maintenance, enhancement and upgrade of the plant systems.

    • Assist maintenance technicians and plant operations as necessary to troubleshoot plant equipment.

    • Helps develop the criteria for preventative maintenance frequencies in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Engineer, and Maintenance Supervisor.

    • Prepares job summaries for entry into the equipment history files.

    • Monitors equipment history for frequent failures or for excessive repair costs. • Ensures that the Management of Change (MOC) in maintenance procedures and operating procedures, that are a result of modifying current equipment or a new installation, are communicated with other departments.

    • Monitors new technology for ideas to reduce cost and improve plant on-stream time.

    • Maintains close communication with all levels of supervision.

    • Ensures that proper safety procedures are referenced appropriately on all planned jobs.

    • Understands and complies with established departmental processes and procedures designed to support internal controls efforts. Identifies and brings to the attention of department management internal controls deficiencies.

    • Support site EHS activities through compliance with all environmental, health and safety policies/procedures, and through active participation in EHS programs and initiatives.

    • Support the initiatives of continuous improvement through teamwork and the application of the quality planning and improvement principles.

    • Knowledgeable in all chemical industry refractory work scope planning and field coordination.

    Position Requirements:

    • Two years of college, an AA degree, or 5 years working experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial chemical setting. Previous planning or supervisor experience is preferred.

    • Solid communication skills including the ability to effectively converse, compose written documents and interact effectively with peers and supervisors.

    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and decision-making skills

    • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and environmental, health and safety policies/procedures.

    • Strong knowledge of PC software applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook and able to adapt to CMMS system and other planning tools, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

    Maintenance

    Job Summary:

    The Instrument and Electrical (I & E) Technician is responsible for safely maintaining, repairing, and/or replacing the physical equipment in the plant safely, correctly, and efficiently. Technicians install, troubleshoot, service and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment. The technician efficiently repairs, or if necessary, replaces the plant equipment in order to permit the plant to operate on a continuous basis. They also, install, service, test and calibrate medium-voltage electrical systems and various other electronic equipment. The I&E Technician meets this responsibility by understanding and adhering to standard I & E procedures and techniques.

    Job Description:

    This is a safety sensitive position that is accountable for providing technical support to Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance for the plants electrical and instrumentation systems and to provide design input for projects.

    Requires installation, repair and maintenance of all process controls; analyzing systems and electrical systems.

    Dismantles, cleans, replaces parts, assembles and calibrates pneumatic and electronic instruments.

    Determines causes for malfunctioning instruments and takes appropriate action to correct trouble.

    Reads electrical blueprints and schematics.

    Performs preventive maintenance on equipment. Installs, alters and repairs electrical systems which include installing conduit, pulling wire through conduit, making proper connections, determining and correcting electrical malfunctions in equipment and electrical control devices.

    Candidates must follow all safety rules and keep work areas in clean condition. The job requires overtime and call-outs on weekends, nights and holidays including shift work during plant outages.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Academic degrees, certifications and licenses (i.e. associate degree, bachelor degree, etc.)

    Chemical or manufacturing plant technical knowledge and/or related work experience

    Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or equivalent combination of work experience and technical training required

    Associates Degree from technical school is desired

    Basic skills from several of the major standard industrial I & E skills including electrical AC/DC voltage, PLC, pneumatic control valves and systems, basic electronics, motor control systems and process control systems

    Experience in 480 volt to 4160 volt electrical systems is desired

    SAP and Coupa Support
    End User Support: Provide timely and effective support to end users regarding the procure to pay process and systems and ensure accurate and complete data documented in tickets prior to closure in Service Now. Coordinate with SAP and Coupa IT teams to timely address user inquiries and issues. Escalate and communicate issues to the appropriate resources when necessary.Training: Responsible for all aspects of employee training and vendor on-boarding. This will include creating, maintaining, and delivering training materials to both employees and suppliers.Change Management: Manage process and system changes, including training, communications, go-live readiness, and leading applicable stakeholder calls.Process Improvement: Proactively and continuously track, monitor, and analyze systems and processes to identify opportunities for process/system improvement.     Communication and Reporting
    Reporting: Provide regular reports on system status, incidents, and usage metrics. Support the development and maintenance of dashboards & reports to analyze ongoing procurement operations efficiency and utilization. This includes synthesizing the information to make recommendations on process improvement opportunities for service levels, user adoption, license utilization, spend efficiencies/opportunities and internal control compliance.Online Content Management: Develop and maintain the department's online content on multiple internal SharePoint sites and external supplier information websites.

    Job Description:

    Job Responsibilities:
    Provide strong leadership to the E&I Engineering team, which includes approximately six CF and contract personnel with expertise in E&I Engineering. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment by advising, mentoring, and training team members. Offer guidance and support to engineers to enhance their technical skills and professional growth. Assign responsibilities to E&I Engineering staff to provide support to Operations and Maintenance in tasks required to improve operating unit performance and/or reliability, troubleshoot issues, support capital project design and execution, and support or prepare for plant outages. Lead select tasks from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with site priorities, engineering standards, and operational goals. Provide hands-on engineering work, coordinate cross-functional resources, and drive timely delivery of project milestones. Supervise the diagnosis of E&I equipment failures and ensure adequate repair recommendations are developed and implemented to enhance equipment on-stream reliability. Encourage continuous learning and development in areas of responsibilities (e.g. electrical power systems, instrumentation systems, on-line analyzers, etc.) and ensure that the group remains well rounded and able to continuously support the site. Ensure that the E&I scope of all Donaldsonville capital projects is adequately defined at each stage of the project budgeting process, and that the team meets engineering, design and other milestones needed to support project implementation. Maintain continuous communication with the Chief Plant Engineer and E&I Maintenance Superintendent to actively prioritize resources. Ensure that the highest priority operational issues and projects are completed in a timely manner. Ensure quality and completion of E&I Engineering scope for changes needed to support reliability improvements, action item closure, etc. Identify and define projects needed to improve the safe and reliable operation of site-wide power transmission, electrical distribution, and instrumentation systems. Work with CF stakeholders to define and maintain E&I Engineering design and installation standards. Ensure all operating units receive the support needed to troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems issues. This includes ensuring 24-hour support is available when necessary, especially during plant outages or project implementation. Ensure E&I designs comply with plant specifications, standards, requirements, and design codes, and that the documentation produced and published accurately replicates the design intent. Review project design and construction packages as necessary to ensure quality and completeness. Act as a site and corporate resource on NEC, NFPA, IEEE, ISA, and other recognized standards for electrical and instrumentation equipment design, installation, operation, and maintenance. Be self-motivated, able to prioritize tasks in response to evolving plant needs, a good decision maker, and determined to continually expand knowledge of industry standards and practices for the benefit of personal growth and the company. Continuously work to improve site EHS performance by ensuring CF EHS Policies and Procedures and CF Operating Standards are incorporated in E&I Engineering programs and actively supporting the CF E&I Maintenance Best Practice Team.

    Position Requirements:
    Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited university required. Electrical Engineering degree preferred. A minimum of seven years of E&I engineering related experience in the oil, gas, or chemical manufacturing industry. Effective communication skills (written and verbal) required. Must be able to communicate and interact with personnel of varied backgrounds and at all levels in the organization. Strong management skills required, including team leadership, decision making, and prioritizing activities in a dynamic environment. Ability and desire to train and develop the E&I Engineering team. Proficient with Microsoft Office software. Able to work occasional nights and weekends as necessary to support department requirements. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and work at heights.
