    Job Summary:

    The Maintenance Technician will be performing pipefitting and welding tasks in the maintenance shop and in the field at various elevations to maintain, repair or replace equipment in a chemical manufacturing facility. The Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance Supervisor, and this is an onsite position in our Waggaman, LA facility.

    Job Description:

    The Maintenance Technician will be performing pipefitting and welding tasks in the maintenance shop and in the field at various elevations to maintain, repair or replace equipment in a chemical manufacturing facility. The Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance Supervisor, and this is an onsite position in our Waggaman, LA facility.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and schematics for installation specifications.

    • Maintain equipment (pumps, turbines, compressors, piping, etc.) to precisely stated specifications.

    • Rebuild and/or fabricates parts and performs preventative maintenance on equipment.

    • Perform work inside vessels and tanks.

    • Perform plumbing repairs and pipe replacement, insulation repair and replacement.

    • Perform repairs using hand tools such as relief valve and gate valve replacements.

    • Operate forklifts and man lifts.

    • Frequently stand, walk, climb and lift.

    • Occasionally requires overtime and callouts on weekends, nights and holidays.

    • Completes all other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.

    Job Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or GED

    • AA Degree or Technical Certificates and/or licenses preferred.

    • Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, Millwright/Mechanic preferred.

    • Have proficient computer skills in a Microsoft Office environment.

    • Ability to effectively read and interpret policies, and procedures.

    • Work in a safe manner that promotes the health and well-being of you, your co-workers and the environment.

    Job Description Summary
    The Instrument and Electrical (I&E) technician position is responsible for safely maintaining, repairing, and/or replacing the physical equipment in the plant safely, correctly, and efficiently. Technicians install, troubleshoot, service and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment. The technician efficiently repairs, or if necessary, replaces the plant equipment in order to permit the plant to operate on a continuous basis. They also install, service, test and calibrate high-voltage electrical systems and various other electronic equipment. The I&E technician meets this responsibility by understanding and adhering to standard I&E procedures and techniques.

    Job Description:

    Key Job Elements:

    1. Candidates must following all safety rules and keep work areas in clean condition.

    2. Requires installation, repair and maintenance of all process controls; analyzing systems and electrical systems.

    3. Dismantles, cleans, replaces parts, assembles and calibrates pneumatic and electronic instruments.
    4. Determines causes for malfunctioning instruments and takes appropriate action to correct.
    5. Reads electrical blueprints and schematics.
    6. Performs preventive maintenance on equipment.
    7. Installs, alters and repairs electrical systems which includes installing conduit, pulling wire through conduit, making proper connections, determining and correcting electrical malfunctions in equipment and electrical control devices.

    Position Requirements:

    1. Minimum H.S. diploma or GED
    2. Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or equivalent combination of work experience and technical training required. Associates Degree from technical school is desired.
    3. Must have basic skills from several of the major standard industrial I & E skills including electrical AC/DC voltage, PLC, pneumatic control valves and systems, basic electronics, motor control systems and process control systems.
    4. Experience in 480 volt to 4160 volt electrical systems desired.
    5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed to develop working relationships with maintenance and operations personnel in a team environment.

    6. The job requires frequent standing, walking, climbing (ladders, stairs), and the ability to lift 80 lbs. occasionally.
    7. Microsoft Office software knowledge.
    8. The job occasionally requires overtime and call-outs on weekends, nights and holidays.
    9. Candidate must pass pre-employment screening examinations and assessments.

    Job Summary:

    The DCS Specialist will lead the implementation of the overall control system from the detailed design phase through the commissioning and turnover phases for the new Blue Point site, ensuring a safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally friendly plant. The successful candidate will possess technical expertise in the areas of distributed control systems (DCS), safety instrumented systems (SIS), and programmable logic controllers (PLC). This position requires a combination of office work and field work with job responsibilities varying from document reviews to troubleshooting control system software and assisting I&E technicians with hands-on troubleshooting of control system hardware.

    Job Description:

    Major Responsibilities:
    Participate in-person, at the kick-off, design review, and pre-inspection meetings at vendor's offices.Review and comment on functional design specifications and hardware/software design documentation.Provide technical leadership to the control system vendor in developing software typical including control loops and graphics layouts; and ensure established typical are maintained in all control system sub systems.Work closely with Process engineers, I&E engineers, and Operations representatives to ensure control and safety functions are properly implemented.Travel domestically and globally to attend factory and module yard acceptance testing of DCS, SIS, and PLC systems as required.Lead site acceptance testing of DCS, SIS, and PLC systems including loop checks, logic verification, and functional testing.Assist the IT team to integrate the site control systems into various other business systems.Identify and resolve control system problems during all project phases.Participate in plant start up, commissioning, and turnover.Work with key site stakeholders to develop site procedures pertaining to all control systems.Write, modify, and implement complex process control logic, including interlocks, using proprietary control system language and standard industry protocols such as function blocks, ladder logic, and structured text.

    As a key player in the Site Leadership Team reporting directly to the General Manager, the Mgr, Environmental, Healthy & Safety plays an important role in the overall leadership of the site by advancing a culture of EHS excellence where everyone is engaged, empowered and innovative in cultivating a workplace that promotes the safety and health of our employees, contractors, customers, business, local community, and the environment.

    As a departmental manager, major areas of responsibility include executing strategies, managing systems, developing people and delivering effective communications that ensure the Yazoo City Complex is operating within all applicable laws and regulations and in a safe, environmentally responsible manner. Key areas include environmental, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, process safety, emergency response, security and quality/lab services. This position is also the liaison with multiple stakeholders within and outside the organization, in both the public and private sector.

    Job Description:

    Create a strategic vision for EHS performance and cultural excellence. Analyze EHS data, assumptions, resources, constraints, and the EHS culture to develop and evolve a long-range course of actions to achieve that vision. Define success by determining outcomes that are critical for success.

    Ensure everyone shares the vision, and foster employee commitment and engagement in the vision.

    Measure performance by identifying key measures of progress, understanding limits and boundaries of data, and creating mileposts and symbols to rally support and encourage improvement. Develop efficient processes for collecting and verifying metrics. Implement benchmarking processes to drive continuous EHS innovation and improvement.Provide oversight and direction to all facility environmental, health, personal safety, process safety, and security programs and supporting processes and actively pursues opportunities for continuous improvement. Direct Reports include Safety Superintendent, Environmental Superintendent, Lab Supervisor, Emergency Response and Security Coordinator, PSM Engineer and Training Coordinator. The department consist of 15 employees and oversight of contract security staff.Ensure the facility's EHS programs are maintained to minimize risk and ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local regulations as well as company standards. Establish systems to verify appropriate processes and practices are in place and functioning properly.Ensure effective communications of EHS messages, focus areas, and activities and cultivating key communication and feedback channels.     Position Overview:
    The Instrumentation and Electrical Technician at the Verdigris Plant is a safety sensitive position that is responsible for the safe installation, operation, and maintenance of instruments, automation systems, and electrical distribution systems. This job involves quickly solving problems before they get bigger to keep the plant running smoothly. You will report to the Supervisor of (I&E) and belong to the Instrumentation and Electrical team and work onsite.

    Job Description:

    You Will:
    Uphold safety standards and participate in safety programs.Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of electronic instruments and control systems throughout the plant.Improve safety and efficiency by tuning control loops and maintaining valves and actuators.Maintain and install electrical systems and motors, handling voltages up to 4160 VAC.Participate in HAZOPs, change management, and procurement for I & E infrastructure maintenance and design.Support the implementation and documentation of projects across the plant.Accomplish additional tasks as directed by management.

    You Have:
    High School Diploma/GED; post-secondary technical education is advantageous (Instrumentation).Two years of relevant experience in process instrumentation and control systems.Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Familiarity with HART instrumentation, DCS, and BMS is beneficial.Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 100 lbs occasionally.Perform tasks involving valves, controls, and various equipment.Work in environments with extreme temperatures, vibrations, and limited ventilation.Exposure to noise, moving parts, electrical currents, steam, and working at heights.Handle chemicals, fumes, and oils safely.Use a respirator and emergency equipment during emergencies
