Our Pet Segment is seeking a Receiving Crew Member to be a part of our Sun Pet Division in Atlanta, GA. Your primary role will be to receive live tropical fish, as well as being trained to pick and pack freshwater fish to fulfill all sales orders presented by the sales department. Ensure that orders are complete, accurate, and ready for delivery in a timely manner.Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to move materials and products within the warehouse and to/from loading docks and production areas.Assist with labeling and preparing products for shipment. Ensure that shipments are correctly packaged, labeled, and documented according to company and customer specifications.Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or accidents immediately.Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, including sweeping, disposing of waste, and organizing storage areas.Other duties as requested, including general housekeeping of plant/warehouseRequired Skills: High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in receiving, storing, and shipping materials and products.Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain an orderly warehouse environment.Understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to warehouse operations and material handling.Effective verbal communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting to management.Comfortable using dock plates, carts, and ladders up to 18 feet tall.Education & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.1+ years of Mobile Equipment Operator experience (Forklift, clamp truck, order picker, etc.) preferred.Minimum one-two years warehouse and distribution experience. Physical Requirements:Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.
