Location: AdventHealth Orlando, Altamonte or Winter Park
Schedule: 7 days on 7 days off (6a-6p)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hospitalist (MD/DO) to join our inpatient care team. The Hospitalist will be responsible for managing the clinical care of adult patients admitted to our affiliated hospitals. The role includes providing general internal medicine consultations to support our surgical and specialty teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including histories and physical exams
Diagnose and actively manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Provide daily inpatient care and ensure continuity across shifts
Order, interpret, and act on laboratory tests and diagnostic studies
Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, incision and drainage, and splinting
Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in hospital rounds
Provide specialty consultation support and coordinate care with referring providers
Facilitate timely referrals to tertiary care facilities as needed
Support quality improvement initiatives and efficient resource utilization
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Board Certified or Board Eligible (IM or FM)
Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
DEA license (eligible or active)

Job Summary:
As a “Home Visit APRN or PA” you will function as a day-to-day clinical leader, providing support and care during patient transitions from acute to home: directing the multidisciplinary team.
Primary Functions:
Perform 6-8 preventive visits daily to optimize chronic conditions, assess home environment, educate patients and caregivers, and develop proactive care plans.Perform timely new care visits and follow up care as needed in the home, while our focus is to avoid unnecessary ED transfers and hospital admissions.In situations where there is no existing PCP for the patient, assume responsibility as interim provider and drive care and continuity for patients.In situations where there is an existing PCP for the patient, help to co-manage the patient with the PCP and serve as an extension of clinical care into the home.Coordinate with other physicians across the continuum of care, including PCP, hospitalist, and SNF providers to smooth transitions and prevent readmissions.Coordinate and offer medical direction to community-based organizations touching the lives of our patients, including housing and caregiver agencies, health plan contracted social work services, home health, adult day health centers, and behavioral health.Education, Training, Experience:

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Nocturnist ARNP to join our hospitalist team. This is a 7pm – 7am block schedule (7 nights on / 7 nights off) position.
Candidates must have ARNP ICU/critical care background and hospitalist experience, with proven ability to run codes, respond to rapid response calls, and perform procedures independently.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and physicals
Maintain accurate and timely charting in accordance with protocols
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and imaging as appropriate
Diagnose conditions and communicate results effectively with patients and families
Prescribe and administer treatments and medications in line with hospital standards
Provide preventive care, including patient education on diet, hygiene, and disease prevention
Administer immunizations as required
Coordinate referrals to specialists when appropriate
Fulfill reporting requirements, including deaths and contagious diseases, per regulations
Respond to rapid responses and code events; perform procedures within scope of practice

Qualifications
Current and active State of Florida ARNP license in good standing
Florida DEA license (if applicable)
National Board Certification (required)
BLS certification (required; ACLS strongly preferred)
Must have worked in a hospital setting within the last 12 months
Strong background in ICU/critical care and hospitalist medicine with demonstrated procedural competency
