Tasks are complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations. Decisions/actions may have an impact beyond the jobs immediate work unit or team. Works under general Supervision. Situations not covered by standard processes, procedures and methods are referred to expert resource. May provide functional guidance to others performing similar work and/or act as team lead. May demonstrate work methods to new employees. Deals directly with immediate supervisor, co-workers and team members; engages in exchanges of factual information and provides some explanation in a problem solving capacity; interactions with external contacts, if applicable, require exchanging factual information and providing some explanation. **Detailed Description** Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: + Acts as lead and problem solver, balances personnel and facilitates the movement of product(s) through designated area of responsibility. + Monitors the conduct, performance and contribution of cell members. + Performs manual assembly, operation of automated assembly equipment, hand soldering, operation of automated test equipment, and inspection and repair of products. + Monitors quantity and quality output and leads production or prototype team to meet group goals. + Compiles data and generates reports on cell performance. + Possesses foundation skills and appropriate technical / leadership skills. **Knowledge/Skills/Competencies** + Must possess specific certifications as defined by site operations. + Knowledge and understanding of board assembly process and product process flow. + Knowledge of product quality, soldering specifications and SMT processing systems. + Ability to set up, operate, and maintain assembly and hand soldering equipment and tools. + Ability to recognize problems in the assembly process or with assembly components and to address those problems. + Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal and external customers. + Ability to work effectively with team members and lead the team to high quality production within tight deadlines. + Knowledge of computer applications and the ability to accurately perform tasks in the applications appropriate to the area e.g. : Word, Lotus Notes, Excel and Documentation control systems. + More advanced manufacturing system knowledge. **Physical Demands** + Duties of this position are performed in a manufacturing environment with occasional to frequent exposure to elements such as noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, etc. + Duties of the position require periodic light physical effort and exertion including prolonged repetitive motions requiring manual dexterity and precise hand/eye coordination, sitting and or standing in confined workspaces, using tools and equipment, and moving and handling materials. + Duties may require periodic heavy manual effort including lifting objects. + Duties require extended periods of sustained visual concentration on detailed documentation and product assemblies. + Above demands are carried out within the local existing Health and Safety guidelines **Typical Experience** + Four to five years of relevant experience. **Typical Education** + High school diploma and additional courses after high school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience and a commitment towards further / additional education. + Educational Requirements may vary by geography **Notes** This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities of the position. Verify and take the defect photo and submit NCMR (Non-conforming material report) to respective MRB team member. + Plan the working hours and overtime schedule of employees under his/her working shift (Quality Support 1-3). Generate and submit daily/weekly incoming quality performance reports. (Z0LG, High Aging part that waiting IQA inspection, Under verification) + Provides direct supervision and training to employees (Quality Support 1-3) performing routine work. Monitor the performance IQA daily output, IQA backlog and high aging part that waiting IQA inspection + Monitor and review performance, attendance and disciplinary of Quality Inspector. Identify IQA training requirements and do training record for IQA inspectors, Assist Engineer to review the conversion part and baking the failed MSD packaging, Ensure maintenance of good housekeeping as well as 5S activity + Stop the line and escalate the quality incident to the Manager, as necessary.     IT-related certificates and/or a technical degree are a plus

    Strong verbal and written communication skills, and are able to work with customers to resolve problems and identify solutions
