Summary The Trade Compliance Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for the development, oversight, and continuous improvement of procedures and internal controls for international export and import operations. You will act as the primary subject matter expert for the site, ensuring that all shipments comply with U.S. and international trade laws (such as EAR and ITAR) while optimizing logistics efficiency and minimizing duty costs. Detailed Description Program Development: Develop and implement comprehensive Trade Compliance programs that align global corporate standards with local manufacturing site operations. Regulatory Oversight: Oversee import/export applications, registrations, and Customs rulings. Maintain strict adherence to Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification, valuation, and Country of Origin (COO) guidance. Audit ability to present complex regulatory requirements to executive leadership and government officials. Typical Education Bachelor’s Degree: Required in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Law, or a related field.
