Contract: W2 only, 7-month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full-time
Pay: $34/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match
Overview
This role involves overseeing overhead and underground construction, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating project activities.
Key Responsibilities
Ensures the execution of overhead/underground construction duties such as: placing hard-line Connectivity & Platforms, framing and strand poles, transferring facilities between poles, placing Connectivity & Platforms in joint trench, and safe operation of construction vehicles and Connectivity & Platforms trailers.
Investigates and monitors accurate record keeping concerning project start, milestone dates, production logs, material costs, and labor expenditures.
Instructs work site safety standards; conducts work site visits to ensure compliance with safety standards and participates in regular safety meetings with the crew.
Supports Specialists and leadership team with coordination of projects.
Generates logs and reports on construction, projects, materials, and expenditures.
Reviews, resolves, follows-up customer requests and complaints.
Monitors performance of construction crew to established goals and objectives.
Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business support, technical, or production staff who perform tasks in the same function.
Sets priorities for the team. Assigns tasks and checks work at regular intervals.
Responsible for ensuring all work performed on the project meets or exceeds Comcast, Local, State, or Federal standards and regulations.
Ensures new or upgraded power supply is in place and operational prior to cut date.
Overall responsibility of the quality of the NGAN product: from the contractor building and to the Operations we hand off to.
Required Skills
Experience in overhead and underground construction activities.
Knowledge of safety standards and compliance procedures.
Ability to generate and review logs and reports related to construction projects.
Strong coordination and supervisory skills.
Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills.
Effective communication with contractors and technical teams.
Ability to monitor and ensure project quality standards.
Proficiency in updating project documentation systems
Field experience in network or construction projects.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with NGAN products and regional network operations.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve project issues efficiently.

As a Senior Software Engineer supporting CEI's client platform, you will build and maintain full-stack solutions that power guest-facing mobile experiences. This role is backend-heavy, with required hands-on Angular front-end development, and a strong focus on ownership, quality, and delivery in a cloud-native environment. You will work closely with product managers, mobile engineers, and platform teams to design, build, and deliver scalable solutions that enhance the guest experience.
