Production Supervisor Decatur, AL 1st Shift Openings $100K–$120K Base + Bonus + Shift Premium About the Role We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations within a fast-paced assembly and metal fabrication environment. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, schedule attainment, and labor productivity while developing high-performing frontline teams. This is a hands-on leadership role reporting directly to Plant Operations Leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage daily production activities across assembly fabrication teams Plan manpower, materials, and workflow to meet production schedules Drive safety initiatives and maintain zero-incident standards Monitor KPIs (throughput, scrap, downtime, labor productivity, schedule adherence) Lead root cause corrective action efforts Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives Develop Team Leaders through coaching and performance management Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Logistics to remove production constraints Qualifications 7+ years of manufacturing experience (assembly, welding, or metal fabrication preferred) 4+ years in a supervisory or team leadership role Strong understanding of production planning and shop floor operations Experience with Lean, Continuous Improvement, and quality systems Data-driven decision-making ability Strong leadership, accountability, and team development skills
