    We are looking for a naturally charismatic leader with exceptional service and sales acumen to be our Store Manager. You will drive the growth of Casper in your respective market. You will develop a customer centric environment and a consultative sales culture. You are passionate about people management and recognize that getting the best from your team requires leading by example, active coaching and investing in their development. You have a practical sensibility when it comes to customer journey and excel in data-driven decision making.

    The Business

    Responsible for meeting/exceeding sales plans and increasing Casper's market penetration rateOversee Store P&L and achieve EBITDA targets by managing payroll, other operating, visual and marketing expensesOversee management and movement of inventory to minimize carrying costs, reduce cost of goods and improve store productivityCreate business driving strategies and Quarterly/Annual business plans, which may consist of identifying marketing opportunities, new selling/clienteling strategies, event calendars, sale target setting and regular business reviews with leadership

    Create an engaging customer experience that focuses on building relationships through the connection and relation of our brand and brand values.Evangelize the Casper mission of sleep and increase customer awarenessProtect and enhance the Casper omni channel customer journeyBe the voice of the customer, ensuring insights and opportunities to improve brand, product and services are communicated back to the Casper organization

    The Team

    Recruit, retain and develop a unique talent pool through continuous daily networking and interviewing prospective candidatesDevelop, coach, and mentor a world class service-minded and high performing teamFoster an inspiring environment of engagement and learning, empowering team members to realize their full potentialEnsure that all training and development programs are implemented and monitored for successPerform annual performance evaluations for direct reports while overseeing the process for the entire storeMaintain performance culture of ownership, continuous improvement and goal achievementMaintain safe working conditions and facilities maintenanceBuild and promote strong collaborative relationships across the fleet and HQ

    5+ years minimum experience as a people leader in a retail, sales, customer service or hospitality industryExceptional leadership capabilities with a track record of attracting, developing, and motivating top talent, swiftly adapting to change, and leading others through the fast paced environmentsFinancial management experience with success in driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expenseDeep and demonstrated understanding of service excellence in a consumer environmentExcellent communication skills with a knack for building consensus via influenceThe desire to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment understands the importance of experimentation and iteration.Fluency in Salesforce preferredWilling to relocate for growth opportunitiesHours expectation: minimum of 40 hours per week including weekends, based on business needs. There may be times when you are required to be in the store alone.Ability to move boxes weighing up to 150 lbs and be on your feet all dayBachelor's Degree or equivalent

    Targeted Annual Base Salary Range: $79,040-104,000 USD

    Casper's compensation philosophy ensures that the actual base salary is based on factors including but not limited to skills, education, experience, special training, time in position, and/or years of service.

You will help oversee day-to-day operations of the store alongside the Store Manager and Associate Manager. As part of the leadership team, you will lead by example on the sales floor and ensure smooth store operations. You will help benchmark Casper's offline experience by nurturing a customer centric and consultative sales culture.

Inform all associates of product levels & shortages and assist leadership team in cycle counts and replenishment processHelp Casper reinvent retail by creating unique, optimal retail experiencesBe a constant ambassador of our core values and mission statement by providing and sharing great customer experiences, new messaging, ideas and feedback

    1-2 years experience as a people leader in a retail, sales, customer service or hospitality industry, with at least 3+ years in a customer-facing roleExceptional leadership capabilities with a track record of attracting, developing, and motivating top talent, swiftly adapting to change, and leading others through the fast paced environmentsDeep and demonstrated understanding of service excellence in a consumer environmentOutstanding communication skills with a knack for building consensus via influence.Naturally curious and solves problems with grace and optimismFinancial management experience preferredThe desire to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment understands the importance of experimentation and iterationAvailable to work at minimum 2 days a week with weekend availabilityAbility to move boxes weighing up to 150 lbs and be on your feet all day
