Cascade Machinery & Electric, Inc. is actively expanding and looking for driven Outside Sales Representatives to take ownership of our Western Washington markets (currently hiring for both North and South territories).
We are a premier provider of industrial machinery, electric motors, commercial pumps, air compressors, and 24/7 critical repair services. If you have the relentless drive of a "hunter" to close new business and the strategic mindset of a "farmer" to grow existing accounts, this is the role for you. You will act as a consultative partner to plant managers, maintenance directors, and engineers across manufacturing, maritime, and municipal sectors.
What You Will Be Doing
Drive New Revenue: Prospect, cold-call, and network to identify new opportunities within industrial, municipal, and commercial facilities.Grow Existing Accounts: Manage and farm a portfolio of current customers, focusing on high retention, upselling services, and securing replacement equipment orders.Consultative Selling: Conduct on-site walk-throughs and assess customer needs to quote appropriate industrial equipment and mechanical solutions.Territory Management: Execute a strategic plan for your designated North or South Western Washington territory to maximize gross margin profitability.
What We Are Looking For
Industry Experience: Direct experience selling industrial machinery (specifically electric motors, pumps, or air compressors) is highly preferred.Sales Track Record: 3+ years of successful B2B outside sales experience with a history of meeting or exceeding quotas.Technical Aptitude: Strong comfort level discussing mechanical concepts, specifications, and industrial systems with engineers and facility managers.Drive & Autonomy: A highly organized self-starter who thrives in a field-based role.Requirements: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and the ability to travel locally throughout your territory on a daily basis.

We are seeking a dynamic, industry-savvy Sales Manager to oversee our entire sales operation. In this critical leadership role, you will manage both our inside and outside sales teams, ensuring they have the support and technical guidance needed to close complex deals. Additionally, you will serve as the primary liaison with the manufacturers we represent and oversee key operational duties, including inventory stock levels and cycle count reporting. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who knows the industrial machinery sector inside and out.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Sales Support
Direct, mentor, and manage the daily activities of both the inside and outside sales teams.Provide active, hands-on support to the outside sales team, leveraging your industry expertise to help negotiate and close key accounts and complex deals.Establish clear sales targets, track performance metrics, and conduct regular team meetings to drive accountability and growth.Manufacturer Relations
Act as the primary point of contact for the manufacturers and vendors we represent.Maintain strong, strategic relationships with vendor partners to negotiate pricing, secure marketing support, and stay current on new product lines.Ensure the sales team is fully trained and up-to-date on all represented manufacturer products.Inventory & Operations Management
Monitor and manage inventory stock levels to ensure we have the right equipment and parts on hand to meet sales demands without overstocking.Oversee the cycle count process, ensuring accurate counts are completed and submitted to the Accounting department in a timely, reliable manner.Collaborate closely with purchasing, accounting, and warehouse teams to streamline operations and resolve any supply chain bottlenecks.
Qualifications & Skills
