Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lamination Supervisor to lead and oversee the lamination department in our fiberglass boat manufacturing facility. The Lamination Supervisor is responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and coordinating personnel and resources to meet production schedules. This role requires hands-on leadership, technical expertise in fiberglass lamination processes, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all lamination activities including hand lay-up, chop gun application, resin infusion, and gelcoat application.Lead, train, and manage a team of lamination technicians and operators to achieve production goals.Monitor daily workflow to ensure timely and efficient completion of boat hulls, decks, and components according to specifications.Ensure proper materials, tools, and equipment are available and maintained for lamination tasks.Conduct inspections of in-process and finished products for quality, consistency, and compliance with company standards.Enforce safety policies and procedures; ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to environmental and OSHA regulations.Identify and resolve process inefficiencies or material issues.Maintain accurate records of production output, labor, and materials usage.Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Quality Control, Engineering, and Scheduling) to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of lamination staff.Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree in manufacturing or composites preferred.3–5 years of experience in fiberglass lamination, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.Strong knowledge of lamination techniques, materials (gelcoat, fiberglass, resins), and composite manufacturing processes.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, lay-up schedules, and technical documentation.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Proficient in basic computer skills (MS Office, production tracking software).Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.Must be able to lift 50 lbs and tolerate exposure to fiberglass dust, resins, and chemicals.Ability to wear PPE including respirators, gloves, and protective clothing.Work Environment:

Position Summary:
The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing plant. This role ensures production efficiency, quality control, employee safety, and workforce leadership, while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. The Plant Manager will work closely with department supervisors, maintenance, quality assurance, engineering, and supply chain teams to meet company goals. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and manage plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, safety, and shipping.Ensure daily production schedules are met while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.Lead, coach, and develop a team of supervisors and production personnel.Monitor and control manufacturing costs, labor utilization, material usage, and inventory levels.Implement and drive lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.Enforce compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and environmental guidelines.Collaborate with engineering and design teams to streamline production processes and support new product development.Maintain clear communication with the Operations Manager regarding performance metrics, production goals, and operational challenges.Drive a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance.Analyze production data and prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).Oversee preventative maintenance programs and ensure minimal downtime.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum of 5 years in a marine manufacturing leadership role, preferably in boat building, fiberglass manufacturing, or a similar environment.Proven experience in plant operations, production planning, and team leadership.Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.Experience in fiberglass or composite manufacturing.Preferred Skills:
OSHA 30 Certification or similar safety training.Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.Physical Requirements:
