What You’ll Do
Assist with residential and light commercial HVAC installation
Support lead installers with equipment setup, material handling, and jobsite prep
Help install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related components
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials
Follow safety procedures and company installation standards
Represent Carolina Heating with professionalism and a positive attitude
What We’re Looking For
Interest in learning the HVAC trade (prior experience a plus, not required)
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and outdoor conditions
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong work ethic, dependability, and team-first mindset
Ability to follow instructions and work well with others

Position Overview:
Carolina Heating Service is seeking a skilled and reliable Residential HVAC Installer to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential homes, ensuring high-quality workmanship and excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Install residential HVAC systems, including split systems, heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers, and ductworkReplace existing systems with energy-efficient equipment according to company standardsRead and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation manualsEnsure all installations comply with local building codes and safety regulationsTest installed systems to verify proper operation and efficiencyCommunicate with homeowners to explain system operation and answer questionsMaintain clean and organized job sitesWork closely with team members and supervisors to complete jobs on timeQualifications:
2+ years of residential HVAC installation experience preferredKnowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and installation best practicesEPA Certification (required)Valid driver’s license with clean driving recordAbility to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces, attics, and crawlspacesStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipGood communication and customer service skillsPreferred Skills:
Experience with duct design and fabricationFamiliarity with high-efficiency and smart HVAC systemsNATE certification (a plus)Work Schedule:
