    STNA - State Tested Nursing Assistant

    Come join us at Carmel Manor! We are a Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm for over 70 years. Our mission is to treat all staff and residents with love and respect.

    We are seeking to hire an STNA - State Tested Nursing Assistant - Full and Part-Time.

    $20 to $25.50 per hour based on experience and shift.Day = 7a to 7p and Night = 7p to 7a shifts available.Less than 5 miles from downtown Cincinnati.

    STNA - State Tested Nursing Assistant Qualifications:

    Current certification in the State of Kentucky as a Nurse’s Aide.CPR certification required.Nurse’s Aide with Long-Term Care experience is preferred.FOR THIS TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT STATE LAW REQUIRES A CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT.

    STNA - State Tested Nursing Assistant Job Summary:

    Answer resident signal lights.Bathe, dress residents and assist with personal hygiene to increase their comfort and well-being.Hair and nail care, and assist residents with dental hygiene.Serve and collect food trays, check diet orders and feed residents as needed.Transport residents to and from the dining area.Make beds, changing bed linen daily.Perform limited nursing procedures as outlined with proper instruction and supervision.Take and record vital signs, measure and record intake and output, collect specimens, and other tasks.

    We are looking for a Director of Human Resources.

    $75K to $80K annually based on skills and experience.

    Director of Human Resources Introduction: This role is responsible for overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resource function.

    Director of Human Resources Qualifications:

    Must have a Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree preferred; in a job-related discipline.Minimum of 4 years of HR management experience.Long-Term Care experience required.HR expertise, including strong understanding of Kentucky labor law, and ability to guide and train others in this discipline.Attention to detail and general business acumen.Strong contributor in team environments and relationship management.FOR THIS TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT STATE LAW REQUIRES A CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT.

    Director of Human Resources Summary:

    Oversee management of time clock administration and its integration with processing payroll.Operate UKG HRIS for Core (employee lookup), reporting, Workforce Dimensions, Recruiting Gateway and Onboarding Gateway.Administer all employee benefits programs, in cooperation with centralized benefits management, to include accurate payroll deductions, PTO, health and dental insurance, COBRA, life, supplemental insurances, and retirement plan.In cooperation with the System Office Recruiting Manager, manage the recruiting and onboarding function through use of Indeed and UKG recruiting/onboarding; background and drug checks and Relias learning management system.Maintain the Employee Handbook, job descriptions, performance evaluations, and all other HR-related documents.Maintain accurate personnel files in accordance with established policies to include all required state and federal forms and records of required training.Administrate employee injuries in conjunction with centralized claims management (MetLife); maintain accurate OSHA injury logs.Manage all employee disciplinary and termination procedures with documentation, in consultation as applicable with management and legal counsel.Annually review and make recommendations to executive management for improvement of the organization's policies, procedures, and practices.Maintain responsibility for organization compliance with federal, state, and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.Assist executive management in the annual review, preparation and administration of the organization's wage and salary program.

    We are looking for an Activities Assistant - Full-Time

    $15.50 per hour.8:45am to 4:45pm with occassional evenings and Every Other Weekend.10-minutes commute from Downtown Cincinnati.

    Activities Assistant - Qualifications:

    High School diploma or equivalent.

    Workable knowledge of arts, crafts, and recreation. Work schedule varies and includes some evenings and weekends.Ability to communicate effectively.Must have the ability and desire to work with all ages, whether they are: well, ill, confused, and/or disabled.

    Activities Assistant Physical Demands:

    Must be able to push wheelchairs.Ambulate long distances in and outside of facility while pushing wheelchairs / Geri-chairs. Must be able to reach up, bend down, stoop and carry various game objects. Must be able to lead physical exercises and be able to move and demonstrate movements.

    Activities Assistant - Job Summary:

    Assists in carrying out the program of arts, crafts, and recreation.Introduces new projects, activities; encourages resident involvement.Assists to help transport and attends to resident needs during entertainment or outside programs.Assures proper care, use, storage and protection of tools and equipment.Assists in keeping activity areas in order and clean.Keeps progress notes up to date on residents.Assists in completing activity assessments.Keeps daily attendance/participation of residents.Observes precautions to prevent accidents of residents and self.Reports any changes noted in residents during a given activity.Assists in shopping for departmental supplies.Attends recommended workshops, in-services, meetings.
