ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Lead root cause analysis of failures and drive implementation
of corrective actions
• Originate, develop, and facilitate analysis methods for
determining the reliability of components and equipment
• Monitor the execution and effectiveness of the PM programs,
identify any deficiencies, and implement corrective actions as
necessary
• Provide leadership and technical support to cultivate a
proactive maintenance service department
• Utilize the equipment downtime database to identify trends
and premature failure issues, and implement corrective
actions to address and track progress
• Design, develop, and implement equipment changes that will
correct reliability, improve productivity, improve efficiencies,
and increase quality product yield
• Attend daily meetings to drive immediate continuous
improvement and compliance to productivity goals
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Associate degree with relevant education required
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant technical
field preferred
Years of Experience:
• 3+ years of experience in Engineering or similar technical
field required
Other Requirements:
• Regular and predictable attendance required
• Cooperate within teams to carry out tasks and
responsibilities
• Experience with AC and DC variable speed drives
• Experience with low voltage and high voltage AC/DC
circuits
• Experience with Fanuc robots and robotic cells a plus
• Familiar with PFMEA, RCFA, Pareto analysis, 5Y, %s,
SPC, CMS, and standardized work instructions a plus
• Experience with HVAC systems and regulatory
compliance a plus
• Work beyond the traditional 40 hours per week may be
required as work load or projects dictate, including
weekends and holidays

• Advanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office
Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Hands-on approach to problem solving and analysis

Perform electrical/electronic diagnosis, repair and installation of machinery in a complex automotive glass manufacturing facility
Assist with improving processes and cycle time, perform routine machine quality checks and analyze process stoppages due to equipment failure
Assist with diagnosing and correcting unscheduled machine downtime and/or major installation projects
Assist Engineers in formulating process improvements
Perform daily line monitoring assessments
Regular and predictable attendance
Work cooperatively with others
**EDUCATIONAL & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
**
High School diploma or GED
Minimum of 4 technical trade school apprentice or 6+ years of experience in electrical/electronic diagnosis, repair, and installation of complex machinery and systems in a manufacturing facility required. Prefer Associates Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering Technology
Must be a Journeyman Industrial Electrician
Strong troubleshooting skills, PLC, servo, NC and power systems required
The successful candidate will have the ability to apply electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational electrical machinery and electrical control equipment and
Ability to work alternative work schedules, including 12 hour shifts and weekends

REQUIREMENTS:

• Carry out repairs to all types of equipment and facilities in a
safe, timely and professional manner
• Troubleshoot defective equipment in order to isolate causes
and make repairs
• Follow instructions given by Maintenance supervisor on shift
• Complete daily walk through inspections on equipment in
assigned area
• Complete run time and down time PM’s on equipment in
assigned areas
• Track time through work order completion
• Assist with troubleshooting production process issues as
needed
• Keep all work areas clean and tidy – including tools & tool
box
• Update supervision, staff and operators, both verbally and via
written reports, on the status of equipment maintenance
issues
• Promote a team environment
• Work in a safety-first manner while adhering to all LOTO, Arc
Flash, Confined Space and Environmental policies
• Respond to internal & external customers in a timely manner
