    Carisk Partners is seeking a board-certified PM&R physician to serve as an Assistant Medical Director in a remote leadership role. This position combines clinical expertise in catastrophic injury management with physician leadership responsibilities, supporting evidence-based care planning, physician development, and clinical oversight.

    The Assistant Medical Director will collaborate with care coordinators, clinical staff, treating providers, and clients to support care planning for injured workers with complex rehabilitation needs. This role also includes leadership responsibilities related to physician mentorship, onboarding, training, and professional development.


    Responsibilities

    Create, review, and oversee implementation of evidence-based care coordination plans for injured worker patientsPresent care plans to clients and clinical staffCommunicate with treating providers regarding injured worker patients, including peer-to-peer discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings, as neededParticipate in active case discussions with the Carisk Clinical Team, as neededCollaborate closely with dedicated care coordinators who support care planning and coordinationProvide mentorship and clinical guidance to physician team membersSupport physician onboarding, training, and professional development initiativesParticipate in the direct supervision and development of physicians

    Qualifications

    Experience in workers' compensation, including catastrophic and complex injury casesFamiliarity with Centers of Excellence and their role in care planning and outcomes managementFamiliarity with life care planning principles and long-term care needs assessmentPrior physician leadership experienceBoard certification in Brain Injury Medicine (BIM) or Spinal Cord Injury Medicine (SCIM)
